Super Robot Wars OG SOC GX-119 Koryuoh & Ryukooh Set

 
 On Early October, Tamashi Nation dropped a luxury diecast item for SRW OG. Not exactly very common treatment for SRW series from Bandai and it is dedicated for Ryukooh/Koryuoh of all mecha. The Chinese Mystical Beast SRW Mecha got a diecast treatment with full transformation gimmick which is the first for physical rendition of Koryuoh/Ryukooh. Scheduled for April 2026, SOC Koryuoh/Ryukooh will be sold for 45000 Yen Price tag.

 For 45000 Yen Price tag, SOC Koryuoh/Ryukooh feature the most complete gimmick so far. This Chinese Divine Beast Mecha is known for its twin form of Dragon God and Tiger God mecha which is based on Chinese 4 Divine beast. Ryukooh is heavy ranged attacker while Koryuoh is a an agile melee monster. This Divine beast mecha is piloted by Bullet and Kusuha, younger pilot cadets in SRW OG with innate Telekinesis ability whose debut dated far back to SRW Alpha and in fact the canonical protagonists as the pair made appearance until Alpha 3. In Alpha 3, Koryuoh and Ryukooh got quite an upgrade for their final version.

The SOC Rendition comes with complete weapon armaments that Koryuoh and Ryukooh are known for to pull of their iconic pose. While Bandai seems to nail perfectly the sculpt for Koryuoh/Ryukooh, I think the articulation for this product will be limited. Considering the interchangable transformation gimmick from 2 components seems complicated enough to be made a physical rendition. Back then there was Koryuoh/Ryukooh action figure rendition by Volks but what Bandai has to offer got to be the best deal so far, surpassing the available previous rendition.

Given the price tag, SOC Koryuoh/Ryukooh is easy skip for me since I will only spend those sort of money for Dis Astranagant or Granveil. But I wouldn't mind to pay some attention if Tamashi Nation could pull off something for Wildwurger for this price tag, looking forward to the next SRW OG merchandise Bandai are bringing through Tamashi Nation.
