While the relationship is not exactly reciprocal, my devotion toward Final Gear has come quite a long way and now it is time to cover article for my first starter SSR unit with her unique mech, Snowy! Actually I do kinda feel bad with Snowy since I neglected her unit for quite a long time and it is not until the Conflict Zone Boss update that made her join active combat once again. And with the maintenance mode weekly boons, Snowy finally managed to reach her UR Upgrade which normally would never even make it by the end of this year. In any case, the 13th Final Gear Mechatalk will be dedicated for the best DPS Support Hamster Ball.
Snowy is another of those prime example of Final Gear attempting to make their character background story as tragic as possible behind their cute appearance just like several characters that have been covered before. To put it simply Snowy is one of the Kegha's experimental living weapon whose existence created simply for war and happens to be one of the most successful too. Despite the immense combat aptitude, Snowy's fate as living weapon heavily strains her mental state because at the end of the day she is still a child given tremendous power beyond her lot. Inevitably the burden as living weapon cause Snowy went berserk on one fateful day which caused an incident on her lab that injured her caretaker. After the said incident, her Caretaker decided to smuggle Snowy out of the institute joining Health and Happiness Sisterhood Mercenary as the group mascot. While Snowy will still descends upon battlefield in her new place, at very least she lives freely and treated as human by her comrades.
In Final Gear, Snowy serves as SSR Support Demolisher unit who provides DPS Buffs for the teammates ranging from additional Crit Rate to True Damage. She pilots a rather wonky unit called Battle Sphere, a floating giant ball resembling Vegeta Space Pod that shoots outs barrage of missiles. Surprisingly this Hamster Ball happens to be another design by Rinbell, the genius mad scientist from Kegha.
Being the Starter SSR Unit, Snowy had the privilege to be the postergirl for Hexel Region recruitment page which may indicate that H&H Sisterhood perhaps picked Hexel region as their base of operation which may sound plausible given that the region aligns with the freespirited nature of the group.
Do not be fooled with Snowy's Hamsterball mecha and her somewhat low yet still respectable DPS. Snowy is hands down the best DPS Support available for a a team could have even in her SSR form. While there are other solid buffer from other Demolisher and Bomber Unit, Snowy has the easiest access for Ignore Defense buff which is essential when facing tanky units like Conflict Zone Solar for instance. As for her DPS while 20 million is rather low, It is pretty good enough for a support unit and quite sure Snowy's DPS can reach 30 million if minmaxed though it is not what is expected from her.
Being a dedicated DPS Support unit, Snowy's UR Upgrade brings a whole lot of DPS Buffs that raises party member Damage and Crits which is quite a complete package even if it doesn't stack. Had Final Gear still continued with their contents, I am quite sure other buffers like Krista or Valyria would have pretty good DPS buff to rival Snowy's with their UR Upgrade. Interestingly the Huge Dendrobium backpack that UR Snowy have would have made her good candidate for Artery Gear collab candidate too.
As promised from the Murasaki Mechatalk, I will be using the opportunity in Snowy's Mechatalk to cover the rest of H&H Sisterhood team members. Among the Group members, Snowy is probably closest to Patricia who used to be her caretaker during the times in the Institute and probably one of the main reason why Flavia and Patricia chose to defect from Kegha. Who knows how many failed experiments who died horrible death when Snowy is the only perfect specimen. If Final Gear had survived for another 10 weeks, I think I would make an article for Patricia but such time length kinda overstretch it since I doubt Final Gear able to survive by the end of the year unless Flashwing have something in plan.
To be honest I have covered most of the Final Gear units that I wanted to discuss but I will try my best to continue this series as long as the game is still around which I think won't be much longer considering Flashwing's half assed management on the maintenance mode. Considering that I will be going for Overseas trip on October, probably I won't be able to write as much Final Gear Mechatalk articles but at very least I will prepare something special next week.
