Girls Frontline 2 VKEND 1/6 Qiongjiu figure

One of the Girls’ Frontline 2 T-Dolls with a standout skin has finally received a long-awaited PVC figure announcement. Qiongjiu, also known as QBZ-191, is getting a 1/6 scale figure produced by a manufacturer called Vkend. This release is especially notable because it is based on her premium skin version, “Heaven Transcending Justice.” Scheduled for release in February 2027, the Qiongjiu “Heaven Transcending Justice” 1/6 figure will be sold for 1186 RMB.

This rendition of Qiongjiu immediately caught my attention because it features my favorite skin in Girls’ Frontline 2 for my mainstay T-Doll, whom I had raised to T6. While Girls’ Frontline 2 offers no shortage of fanservice skins for players to purchase, my preference has always leaned toward more tacticool designs. Qiongjiu’s “Heaven Transcending Justice” stands out as one of the best in that category, blending a Dynasty Warriors-inspired aesthetic with imperial Chinese motifs. In-game, it was an instant purchase for me, especially as it also includes an additional wholesome dorm interaction.

If this figure had been released in 1/7 scale, I would have been very likely to pick it up. However, as a relatively new manufacturer, Vkend has opted for a 1/6 scale release, which is a somewhat unusual decision for anime scale figure. Hopefully, this rendition of Qiongjiu will be successful enough to lead to more her related merchandise releases in the future for collectors like myself to consider.

Persona 3 Reload APEX Limepie P3 Protagonist Makoto Yuki

Atlus and Sega continue their active push of the Persona IP through merchandise releases, and this time Makoto Yuki receives a particularly interesting figure. Among manufacturers, Apex-Toys is handling the release as part of their new Limepie series lineup. After establishing a reputation with premium PVC figures, Apex is now expanding into a more budget-friendly range, with Makoto Yuki chosen to spearhead this new direction. The figure is scheduled for release in April 2027 with a price tag of 6,800 yen.

Rendered in his Persona 3 Reload design, Makoto Yuki is posed holding an Arcana card, ready for combat. For a figure at this price point assuming a standard 1/8 scale this release appears to be a strong value proposition. It potentially surpasses previous budget-range PVC figures in both sculpt quality and design freshness, compared to lines such as Alter or Figuarts Zero.

And given the current trajectory of Persona merchandise marketing and the buildup toward Persona 6, I won’t be surprised that characters such as Joker and Yu Narukami will eventually receive figures in this same lineup.

Arknights Myethos 1/7 Kaltsit Esperanta

With the release of Kal'tsit Alter in Arknights CN—one of the main figures in the story—it was expected that she would quickly receive a high-end PVC figure from Myethos. This rendition of Kal'tsit comes as a highly detailed diorama-style 1/7 scale figure, scheduled for release in May 2027 at a price of 42,500 Yen.

This is undoubtedly positioned in the premium tier of PVC figures, largely due to its elaborate diorama base, similar in spirit to previous high-end releases like Skadi Alter’s premium version. In this figure, Kal'tsit is accompanied by a new incarnation of her guardian sentinel following Mon3tr’s given autonomy from Kaltsit. The design appears to blend elements reminiscent of Hitekai Ikaruga and Matrix Sentinels, featuring a more diversified range of offensive capabilities compared to Mon3tr.

Since Kal'tsit Alter has not yet reached the global server, it is still somewhat difficult to fully grasp her character on a more personal or intimate level. However, it is clear that she returns with even greater power and a renewed commitment to Rhodes Island and the Doctor following her banishment by the Priestess in Chapter 15. It will be interesting to see whether this figure line eventually extends to a Nendoroid release as well, especially with Mon3tr already confirmed to receive one in the near future.

Uma Musume Pretty Derby Kotobukiya 1/7 Grass Wonder

With the resurgence of Uma Musume: Pretty Derby following the Global server's debut last year, many of the older Uma Musume have finally started receiving new merchandise. After releasing Super Creek, Kotobukiya has now announced a 1/7 scale figure of Grass Wonder. Priced at 21,000 yen, the figure is scheduled for release in February 2027.

This figure depicts Grass Wonder in her signature racing uniform. Personally, I was hoping Kotobukiya would include her iconic naginata to better reflect her composed, warrior-like image, but it seems the company chose to play it safe with a more standard presentation.

Although Grass Wonder is one of the less popular members of the original starter roster, she has been my favorite waifu ever since I started playing the Japanese version of the game. Beyond her in-game personality, her real-life racehorse counterpart also enjoyed a highly accomplished racing career, making her one of the more distinguished horses represented in the franchise.

I'm seriously considering picking this one up since I'm a big Grass Wonder fan, although I'll need to see how my budget looks closer to release. Even if I end up passing on this figure, I hope Kotobukiya or another manufacturer eventually produces her alternate costume version. And if Grass Wonder ever gets a figma release, that would be an instant purchase for me.

Ys Kotobukiya 1/7 Dana Iclucia

Ten years after the release of Ys VIII, this Kotobukiya figure remains what many consider the definitive rendition of the game’s heroine, Dana Iclucia. Originally released alongside Ys VIII: Adol Christin, it is now receiving a rerun scheduled for October 2026. This 1/7 Dana Iclucia rerelease will be sold for 28,000 yen price tag.

This 1/7 scale Dana Iclucia features a graceful, relaxed pose paired with a cheerful expression. As the high priestess of her civilization, Dana’s serene and composed nature is captured effortlessly here, she feels both divine and approachable. At the same time, there is a quiet strength in her stance, reflecting her ability to move from elegance to combat as fluidly as if she were dancing.

Given I finished Ys VIII not too long ago, Dana certainly left a profound impression to me being one of the best heroine that Ys series could come up so far, one of the worthiest main heroine for Adol that fans joked that she is being Feena 2.0. But without a doubt, she has what it takes to fill the void left by Feena within Adol’s heart if her fate had taken another direction.

As a result, I find myself particularly drawn to this definitive rendition of Dana Iclucia. While I would also welcome other versions such as a Nendoroid or Figma, her intricate design makes me appreciate why a 1/12 scale action figure would be technically challenging to execute without compromise..

Gundam Seed Freedom Lucrea Athrun Zala Scale Figure

Since the release of Gundam SEED Freedom few years ago, Athrun Zala has finally received some long-overdue attention. I believe it has been well over a decade since MegaHouse last released a scale figure of one of the most popular protagonists from the Gundam SEED series. Now, the company is bringing Athrun back under its Lucrea lineup, featuring him in his SEED Freedom pilot suit. Scheduled for release in January 2027, the Lucrea Athrun Zala figure will be sold for 8,000 yen.

Considering the current PVC figure market, I expect the overall quality of this Lucrea release to be only slightly above that of a prize figure or a Pop Up Parade figure. Even so, it is still a welcome addition to the merchandise lineup for arguably the most reliable main character in Gundam SEED, especially when compared to the older Banpresto scale figure.

I will definitely be picking one up, as my Metal Build Justice Gundam needs a proper pilot representation, and this option feels far more reasonable than the Premium Bandai S.H.Figuarts release. Given that Cagalli's prototype was recently revealed, I am also fairly confident that Athrun's partner will be joining the Lucrea lineup in the near future.

Genshin Impact Apex Toys1/7 Raiden Shogun - Plane of Euthymia ver

Genshin Impact fans have waited a long time for this moment, but one of the game’s most popular Archons has finally received the premium scale figure treatment she deserves. Raiden Shogun arrives in full glory with a brand-new 1/7 scale figure from APEX-TOYS, featuring her iconic “Plane of Euthymia” pose as she draws the legendary Musou Isshin blade from her chest.

Personally, Raiden Shogun was one of the biggest reasons I started playing Genshin Impact in the first place, so seeing her receive such a high-quality figure release is genuinely exciting. Scheduled for January 2027, the APEX-TOYS 1/7 Raiden Shogun – Plane of Euthymia Ver. will be sold for 1499 RMB.

Arknights 1/7 Eyjafjalla Hvit Aska - A Picnic before Long Trip ver

Another one of the best skin illustrations from Arknights has finally made it into figure form. This time, the spotlight goes to the precious sheep kouhai Eyjafjalla, whose Alter version skin is receiving the scale figure treatment. The PVC figure is based on Eyja Alter’s Epoque series skin, A Picnic Before the Long Trip. Scheduled for release in August 2027, this figure will retail for around 29,000 yen.

A rather pricey release from Good Smile Company, but as expected, the company really brings out the charm of this particular Eyjafjalla skin. Simply put, the Alice in Wonderland-inspired design perfectly amplifies the innocent and gentle qualities that Eyja naturally has. Whether as a devastating DPS caster or an exceptionally reliable healer, Eyjafjalla has always been one of the most dependable operators in the game despite her relatively tragic background compared to many other operators in Rhodes Island.

The last time Eyja received a PVC figure was based on her summer skin version, and honestly, she is one of the operators I would not mind seeing get even more merchandise in the future. If things go well for the series, I would not be surprised to see her Arknights: Endfield version eventually receive a figure adaptation as well.

Zoids Genesis Spark Fig Grande Kotona Elegance

Takara Tomy is not exactly known for its PVC figure lineup, but out of nowhere the company has delivered a tantalizing scale figure of Zoids Genesis heroine Kotona Elegance. Dressed in a ravishing swimsuit outfit, this entry in the Spark Fig Grande series fully embraces the appeal of one of the Zoids franchise’s most beloved heroines. Scheduled for release in February 2027, the figure carries a price tag of 22,000 yen.

Among the many heroines across the Zoids franchise, Kotona Elegance has always stood out as something of an anomaly in the decades-long mecha series. She is the kind of “perfect waifu” character design that feels as though it belonged in a major shonen or seinen fantasy title rather than a children-focused anime, which arguably left her underrated despite her popularity. Even so, Kotona gained a strong following during the mid-2000s thanks to her top-tier eye-catching design, often comparable to modern fan favorites like Reisalin Stout from Atelier Ryza.

In Zoids Genesis, Kotona is introduced as a member of a mysterious assassin clan sent to target the main protagonist, only to eventually join his group instead. While she never truly stood out as a frontline Zoid pilot as her Rainbow Jerk lacking the overwhelming combat prowess of machines like the Murasame Liger, she excelled in stealth and subterfuge. Without a doubt, this new scale figure from Takara Tomy is a prime example of a swimsuit waifu figure done right, featuring an attractive and well-balanced physique without going excessively over the top.

I still own her classic Max Factory figure, which remains one of Kotona’s best renditions to this day and has been sitting in my collection for years. It is definitely a figure I look forward to reviewing someday.

Arknights Apex Toys 1/7 Mon3tr

Among the many fan-favorite operators in Arknights, I always felt that Mon3tr was one of the strongest candidates to receive a merchandise release, and APEX-TOYS ended up being the first to make that move. As expected from Apex, this release comes in the form of a 1/7 scale figure based on Mon3tr’s default in-game appearance. Scheduled for release in April 2027, the figure will retail for 899 RMB.

Mon3tr is the massive, spiked creature usually attached to Kal’tsit’s spine and serves as one of Rhodes Island’s deadliest assets. Despite its monstrous appearance, Mon3tr is often portrayed almost like a surrogate child to Kal’tsit. In Chapter 15 of the main storyline, following Kal’tsit’s encounter with Priestess, Mon3tr temporarily gains a human form and begins serving directly under the Doktah in Kal’tsit’s place. In gameplay terms, Mon3tr functions alongside Kal’tsit’s 6★ Medic class kit, famous for its ability to inflict devastating true damage. The humanized version of Mon3tr also quickly became popular among players, especially those who jokingly view her as the Doktah’s “new daughter” competing for affection with her “mother,” Kal’tsit.

Overall, the figure looks like another top-tier release from Apex, with strong sculpting and excellent detailing. Still, like many of my Arknights collectibles, I will probably wait for a Nendoroid version instead.

Arknights Myethos 1/8 Skadi Moment of Wilderness Figure

Another noteworthy Skadi PVC figure has been announced by Myethos and it’s surprisingly affordable. Following her popularity as one of the standout characters in Arknights, the Orca waifu Skadi gets yet another release. This version, titled Wildlight Wander, appears to be inspired by a recent illustration from the CN server. It’s scheduled for release in November 2026, priced at 269 RMB.

This figure presents Skadi in a relaxed camping outfit, casually holding a fishing rod. It leans into a more sporty and laid-back look while still capturing her signature kuudere vibe. Whether it’s directly based on an upcoming CN skin or a standalone concept isn’t entirely clear, but it’s easily a strong addition for dedicated Skadi collectors.

With Chen 2nd Alter having been released not long ago, it wouldn’t be surprising if Skadi eventually receives a second Alter form as well, given her enduring popularity.

Genshin Impact Myethos 1/7 Skirk Festive Gathering PVC Figure

Despite often being overlooked, HoYoverse occasionally delivers unexpected surprises for Genshin Impact. The game’s merchandising side is usually somewhat disorganized, with even popular characters sometimes waiting years before receiving notable figures. However, out of nowhere, Skirk who debuted last year has already received a PVC figure. Produced by Myethos, the 1/7 scale figure titled “Festive Gathering” presents an alternate costume design and is scheduled for release in January 2027, priced at around 6,800 yen.

To be honest, very few Genshin Impact PVC figures fall under the 10,000 yen range, especially for highly popular characters. In that sense, Skirk’s figure is a pleasant surprise. Despite the relatively low price, the design still maintains a strong sense of elegance. She fits neatly into the same visual archetype as figures like Scáthach in her formal dress, refined, composed, and slightly distant in presence.

The last time something similar happened was with the release of the PVC figure for Citlali, and whether coincidental or not, it feels like Cryo characters are quietly receiving strong figure representation. Nevertheless, Cryo Supremacy is always welcomed!

Personally, I did obtain Skirk along with her signature weapon before eventually stepping away from Genshin Impact. While this figure is a welcome addition, it isn’t quite enough to draw me back into the game.

Uma Musume Pretty Derby Alter 1/7 Smart Falcon

The renewed attention around Uma Musume likely comes from its recent global push, but it’s still a bit surprising to see a major PVC figure manufacturer like Alter stepping in with a new release. You might expect them to go with one of the newer characters from the Japanese server but instead, they’ve chosen an old timer of the series; Smart Falcon. Set for release in March 2027, the 1/7 scale Smart Falcon figure comes with a price tag of ¥23,800. It’s an interesting pick, especially considering how long she’s been part of the franchise.

Smart Falcon is one of the earliest characters introduced in Uma Musume Pretty Derby, where she’s portrayed as an “Umadol” (Uma Musume idol). She stood out early on as one of the strongest dirt-track racers available to players. Beyond gameplay, though, she’s become a fan favorite for a very different reason—her ongoing streak of failed romantic attempts with her trainer, which has turned into a long-running community joke (often at her expense).

While I probably won’t be picking up this figure myself, I’m definitely keeping an eye on future releases for Kotobukiya version of Grass Wonder, which could very well make an appearance within the next year.

Arknights Furyu F:NEX 1/7 Entelechia

Arknights might have slowed down a bit on the global server lately, but there’s still something for collectors to look forward to, in premium merchandise department. Among the many operator candidates, we’re getting a stunning 1/7 scale figure of Entelechia from FuRyu’s high-end F:NEX line. This 6★ Vampire Sarkaz Guard is scheduled for release in February 2027, with a price tag of 1299 RMB.

Entelechia made a striking debut as a scythe-wielding Reaper Guard, embodying the elegance and mystique of a vampiric aristocrat from one of the main Sarkaz bloodlines. Based on her E2 illustration, FuRyu’s 1/7 figure captures her understated, refined beauty exceptionally well, an impressive feat considering the fierce competition among top-tier “waifu” operators in her class.

Interestingly, Entelechia is voiced by Hasegawa Ikumi, a highly regarded seiyuu known for portraying Arcueid Brunestud, the iconic True Ancestor heroine from Tsukihime. With that connection, fans can expect Entelechia to carry a similarly captivating and classic vampire charm.

That said, while Arknights has been a consistently strong performer over the years, it does feel like its momentum has slowed recently. The core gameplay formula has remained largely unchanged for over five years, and some of its limitations are showing the extent of stagnation. It’s understandable that Hypergryph’s focus may be shifting toward Endfield, but hopefully there’s still room to revisit and reinvent Arknights in the near future, keeping one of the most reliable gacha titles feeling fresh and engaging.

Martian Successor Nadesico 1/7 Ruri Hoshino

Martian Successor Nadesico may be a dormant IP these days, but that doesn’t mean its best waifu can’t still get new merchandise. Ruri Hoshino is getting a new 1/7 scale PVC figure from Good Smile Company, and she looks stunning in her iconic young battleship captain getup from Prince of Darkness , one of the peak designs of the 90s. The figure is scheduled for release in October 2026 and will be priced at 18,000 yen.

Ruri stands out as one of the best teen heroine designs in mecha anime of her era, a testament to the skill of her character designer. Her transition from Nadesico to Prince of Darkness captures her growth beautifully. Ruri becomes the epitome of the “young maiden falling in love” archetype, as she gradually develops feelings for Akito, the main character of Nadesico, a relationship that is emotionally complicated and borderline forbidden. Interestingly, the voice actors for Akito and Ruri are married in real life as well.

Girls Frontline 2 Exilium 1/7 Springfield Queen in Radiance

The Girls’ Frontline series may not be the fastest when it comes to releasing merchandise, but the pacing has been steady and respectable. With the help of Kotobukiya, Springfield in her formal dress is finally getting the spotlight as a 1/7 scale figure. Scheduled for release in September 2026, the figure is priced at 25,000 yen.

This rendition faithfully recreates Springfield’s GFL2 skin, “Queen in Radiance.” As expected, the scale figure sits on the higher end of the price spectrum compared to its peers much like the skin itself in Exilium, where it remains one of the most expensive options available for direct purchase. The pricing feels fitting, considering the level of detail and the premium presentation of this version.

Springfield has long been a fan favorite within the GFL community, largely due to her strong maternal aura among the many “waifus” in the franchise. Despite the series having no shortage of characters with a similar archetype, Springfield continues to stand out and maintain her popularity.

Before reuniting with the Commander in GFL2, Springfield successfully ran a coffee shop alongside some of the Commander’s former T-Dolls. However, she is far from being just a gentle café owner. Springfield remains a combat-ready T-Doll with her own arsenal, fully prepared for large-scale firefights whenever duty calls.

Arknights Endfield Apex Toys 1/7 Chen Qianyu

Not long after Arknights: Endfield debuted, Apex Toys was quick to announce a PVC figure for the series  and the first character to receive the treatment is Chen Qianyu! Out of all the new characters, her being chosen first is actually quite understandable. Apex Toys 1/7 scale Chen Qianyu figure is scheduled for October 2026, and will be priced at 899 RMB.

With her bright personality and goofy charm, it’s no surprise Chen Qianyu became the first character to get a PVC figure even ahead of main heroine Perlica. Many fans also agree that Chen Qianyu is a distant descendant of Chen from Arknights. Personally, I like the popular headcanon among some of the fans that she might be the result of Chen’s union with Doktah, given her energetic and silly nature which contrasts sharply with her ancestor’s more serious demeanor.

If Endfield continues to do well, I wouldn’t be surprised to see an action figure of Chen Qianyu in the near future.

Fate/Grand Order 1/7 Archer Durga 2nd Ascension

Fate/Grand Order has now endured for nearly a decade, and its merchandising scene remains remarkably strong. At this point, one might expect the merchandise pipeline of a long-running gacha game to slow down or fade away, but not in FGO’s case. Among the latest additions to its PVC figure lineup, Durga finally makes her debut in 1/7 scale, courtesy of Kadokawa. Released in her Second Ascension form, the 1/7 Durga is scheduled for September 2026 with a price tag of 29,800 yen.

Judging from the prototype, Kadokawa’s 1/7 Durga perfectly captures the cold, indifferent visage of a goddess who deals in destruction, fitting for the alter ego of the goddess Parvati. The “Sakura-face” variants have enjoyed a long and successful run in FGO, and Durga stands out as one of the strongest renditions, rivaled only by Kama. Sharing the Archer class, 1/7 Durga also makes for an interesting contrast with previously released Ishtar PVC figure, representing the divine incarnations archetype of Fate’s Sakura and Rin respectively.

That said, despite her revealing outfit and striking divine beauty, one would be foolish to entertain any impure thoughts toward FGO’s Durga. After all, she remains the consort of Shiva, she had what it takes to swiftly destroy any mortal reckless enough to test their luck.

I might have considered picking up this version of Durga if I had money to spare, but for now, I’ll just patiently wait for a Nendoroid rendition instead.

Arknights Furyu F:NEX 1/7 Ines

Arknights after running for 6 years is still strong in the merchandise department! For Premium scale figure, some are lucky enough to get their rendition quite fast while others take time. After almost 3 years, The premier Agent Vanguard 6* Operator, Ines get her turn! Released by Furyu in 1/7 Scale in her regular getup, Furyu F:Nex Ines will be sold for 1199 RMB Price tag with November 2026 release.

It was rather surprising that it took 3 years for Ines to get her PVC Figure, considering she is solid S-rank operator when it comes to popularity even if not S+ rank. In Arknights she is one of my go-to choice for Vanguard operator slot due to her respectable DPS and her convenient utility in her kit.

Overall Furyu rendition of Ines in her default skin is solid though given her popularity as Waifu character, her other skins which are top tier could have been considered and perhaps we could see some in the future. Looking forward to her Nendoroid which are quite likely as long as Arknights remain popular and I likely expect Operators like Reed or Eblana could follow up if the slot is not taken up by Namie’s operators.

Girls Frontline Apex Toys 1/7 HK416 Midnight Evangelion

Being the ever popular postergirl of Girls Frontline, Klukai or HK416 often becomes the recipient of physical merchandise. From Apextoys, She is getting another 1/7 PVC Figure in her skin called Midnight Evangelion. Scheduled for July 2026, this one will be sold for 20800 Yen Price tag.

This particular rendition of Klukai appear to be her GFL1 version with her hairstyle being giveaway but her skin really closely resemble her GFL2 Speed Star skin which are getting the action figure by Animester. The tight skinsuit in this HK416 version also truly resemble Evangelion’s iconic plugsuit thus received the “Midnight Evangelion” designation. While I am fine with Klukai keep getting the merchandise I hope other T-Doll like Daiyan and Groza could get their share too in the future.
