SRW Alpha 3 Riobot Raioh
In the history of SRW merchandise, Raioh has always been a somewhat elusive design. Aside from the Volks FAF action figure released more than a decade ago, collectors have had very few opportunities to add this iconic machine to their collections. For that reason alone, Sentinel's Riobot release is a welcome addition, even if its premium price places it firmly in the high-end collector market.
Despite having a rather personal attachment to Raioh, the current economic climate makes it difficult to justify such a purchase. At this price range, the only SRW machine that could convince me to open my wallet for such price tag would probably be Dis Astranagant.
Back in Super Robot Wars Alpha 3, Raioh was my choice for my first playthrough of this legendary title. Designed as a powerful boss-killer super robot, Raioh quickly became a fan favorite thanks to its overwhelming presence and signature tokusatsu-inspired attacks, particularly its iconic dive kick.
With Daizengar eventually receiving a Bandai model kit, I am quite optimistic that Raioh will one day receive similar treatment. Until then, Riobot Raioh will likely remain relatively out of reach collectible representation of one of Alpha 3's most memorable original machines.

SRW OG Riobot Huckebein Mk-III w/ AM Gunner & Boxer Unit
A surprise release from Sentinel, seemingly out of nowhere. It almost feels like a bit of one-upmanship with Bandai: the previously released Huckebein Mk. III plastic model is now getting the full-fledged Riobot action figure treatment. Not stopping there, this final iteration of the Vanishing Trooper is also being accompanied by the AM Gunner and Boxer Unit. Scheduled across November 2026 to January 2027, the Huckebein Mk. III lineup comes with the following price tags:
Riobot Huckebein Mk. III – November 2026 – 22,000 yen
Riobot Boxer Unit – December 2026 – 25,000 yen
Riobot AM Gunner – January 2027 – 27,000 yen
There’s no doubt this is shaping up to be Sentinel’s most expensive Super Robot Wars offering so far. Going all-in for the complete set totals 74,000 yen, surpassing even the 65,000 yen Riobot SRX. Still, this could very well be the definitive rendition of the Huckebein Mk. III, with product quality that should easily outclass the original model kit.
Interestingly, this release strategy from Sentinel gives some room for optimism. It opens up the possibility that previously Super Minipla–exclusive Super Robot Wars OG designs might also receive the Riobot treatment. Personally, I’ve got my eyes on Astranagant and Hyperion.

SRW OG Riobot Vaisaga
At first I thought Sentinel will release this one back to back with Soulgain last year but it seems they are still prudent enough to let the SRW fans wallet to recover. It has been around 6 months since the initial reveal but Sentinel is finally ready to announce the next SRW Riobot, Vaisaga! Scheduled for September 2025, Riobot Vaisaga will be sold for 39600 Yen.
Vaisaga is the second Shadow Mirror mecha to get the Riobot treatment after Soulgain. In SRW OG it is a Secret unit usable by Lamia if you fulfill certain condition but back in SRW A it is the Super Robot option available for both Axel and Lamia. Just like Soulgain, Vaisaga is a close combat monster who had a bastard sword as its primary weapon. Despite it is not as accomplished as Dygenguar in OG verse, Vaisaga is still quite a powerful Swordmaster type mecha. While Sentinel might have decided Raioh as the next Riobot candidate, I am quite sure that other Shadow Mirror mecha have a good shot coming up like Angelg. Though Vindel's Zweizergain would be awesome as well if Sentinel is interested in giving it a physical rendition.

Genesis Climber Mospeada Riobot 1/48 AB-01H Tread
Took quite sometime for Sentinel to release this after Legioss but Mospeada's Valkyrie Fighter buddy, AB-01H Tread is now available for Preorder. The COVID Pandemic definitely play a part for this guy's release delay for up to 5 years. The hype definitely have cooled down significantly after such a long time and the odds aint good, but Sentinel still fulfilled their end of bargain to release Legioss best partner. Scheduled for July 2025, 1/35 Tread will be sold for 42000 Yen Price Tag.

Brave Express Amakuni Kizin Great Mightgaine
Off 8 Yuusha series, Mightgaine might be one of the series that got quite a preferential treatment after Gaogaigar. Off all Protagonist Yuusha Final Form Mecha, Great Mightgaine gotta be one of the uglier one due to proportion issues. However Sentinel under the patronage of Amakuni appears to manage break the curse finally! Joining the Amakuni's Kizin lineup and standing 25cm tall, Kizin Great Mightgaine will be released in August 2025 with whopping 49800 Yen Price tag.
On Hindsight, in terms of Price tag Kizin Great Mightgaine actually cost the same with getting The Gattai Mightgaine+Mightkaiser. The Yuusha fans are given the option of transformation gimmick and playability with the Gattai lineup or properly proportioned Diecast rendition that will make an impressive showpiece with Amakuni Kizin Great Mightgaine. Truly, Amakuni Kizin gave the Great Mightgaine a proper Super Robot treatment that it deserves as it do address some glaring flaw of the original design. Most Notably the oversized Great Mightgaine Round Head Crest which i felt very unnecessary when I played SRW V. The base set of Kizin Great Mightgaine includes the necessary accessories for Mightgaine including the powered up version of Dorinken which will be equal match to Zankantou but there is an option part which include Mightgunner in Cannon form as shown below for Brave Express fans who wish to go for an extra mile.

SRW OG Riobot Soulgain
As SRW Fans are anticipating for Flametoys Alteisen, Sentinel make their move first by announcing the release for their rendition of Alteisen's rival, Soulgain! Released as Riobot Lineup, Sentinel's take on Soulgain will be sold for 39600 Yen with June 2025 release schedule.

Yoroiden Samurai Trooper Sentinel Oni Mashou Shuten Doji
Another back-to-back post for Sentinel products, Never thought Sentinel are willing to go this far for Yoroiden but it is a welcome change nonetheless! For quite some time Sentinel had finished their run for Yoroiden Samurai protagonist but now decided to work on the Antagonists Samurai armor too. For the Demon General samurai armor, Sentinel picked Shuten, the enemy Samurai General that wield Chain and Sickle as his weapon. Scheduled for January 2025 release, Sentinel's Shuten Doji will be sold for 18000 Yen.
Among Yoroiden antagonists, Shuten is one of the few that got some well made character and possibly the best from the series as he got his redemption arc and even willing to sacrifice his life without any hesitation for the right cause. Apparently there were Chinese manufacturers that made some product for Shuten before but Sentinel's overall quality will be better to replicate the anime look. I do wish the Haori parts can be separated from the armor but I doubt Sentinel version are doing it and also surprised Shuten had Spear as part of his arsenal too. Given that Bandai had made some vintage toys for Yoroiden Demon General, lets see if they are going to make Armor Plus for them too.

Cross Ange Riobot Vilkiss
Up until now Sentinel rarely ever got involved with any Sunrise related mecha series, but for some reason they pull of a combo breaker and take on one of the newer Sunrise mech series. The IP that Sentinel chose to pick up is no other than Cross Ange with the titular mecha Vilkiss! I suppose with the recent success of Gundam SEED movie do put some confidence for Sentinel to release product for one of Fukuda's works and Cross Ange being the safest choice as it was the latest Fukuda's non Gundam Work. Scheduled for December 2024 release, Riobot Vilkiss will be sold for 42900 Yen.
From the first glance, Riobot Vilkiss will have overall improvement for all gimmicks that the Robot Spirits version had. Villkiss is quite a special mech because it is basically Fantasy version of Freedom Gundam from Gundam SEED and Rising Freedom Gundam do use some of Vilkiss Gimmicks to pay the homage. While I am not exactly a big fan of Cross Ange due to the Yuri fetish, I do admit Vilkiss is one of the cooler modern Fantasy Mecha which I did use extensively back in SRW V. While I am personally more of a fan of Arquebus Vanessa Custom which resembled Justice Gundam, Villkiss is certainly not something to be missed for Fantasy mecha fans who had the means to spend.

SRW OG Riobot Dygenguar / Daizengar
SRW OG series has been getting some serious attention by Sentinel lately as we are getting yet another seriously big entry and something that can rival SRX popularity! The ever popular Giant Samurai mecha Daizengar is now preparing to make its entry to Sentinel Riobot lineup. Coming with the proportion close to 1/144 Scale along with LED and plenty of other gimmick, this possibly the best rendition yet for Daizengar by Sentinel will be scheduled for September 2024 release with 42000 Yen Price Tag.
One of the first Dynamic General Guardian unit, Dygenguar or Daizengar is the Ultimate mecha piloted by Zengar Zonvolt, a Stoic German Ace Pilot belonged to the legendary Agresssor team who is very skilled in Japanese Swordsmanship. Daizengar comes with assortment of weapons but Zengar mainly use a Giant Sword Zankantou which is pretty much SRW equivalent of Berserk's Dragon Slayer. Together with DGG-02 Aussenseiter, Daizengar forms an unstoppable duo as Daizengar rides Ausssenseiter Trombe form and literally cleave everything in their way with Zankantou and can hit really hard on Bosses with Zankantou Tatsumaki.
Riobot version of Daizengar comes with tons of Accessories to make it the definitive version of this Ultimate Samurai Mecha and collectors got an option for Store exclusives which are shown below that comes with Zankantou throwing blade version and additional faceplate if they wish to go for extra mile. I wonder if Bandai will put up some reaction with this move by Sentinel this time given they had some Chogokin for the DGG Duos which were open for rerun less than 2 years ago.

May 2023 Loot
Well these are the whole hauls of this month apart from Riobot SRX of the earlier post but to be exact it is the loot collections over past 2 months. By no means this haul is the most expensive one as there previous one that had higher value collectively, though that one is like cumulation of 6 months worth, but this one is closing there just from the sheer value of Riobot SRX itself. But from this month's loot you will notice that there are no any Anime related collectibles as I focus more onto mecha series themselves and the proportion of Chinese made stuffs is already surpassing the Japanese counterpart and might stay that way eventually. Out of these loots, apart from the SRX set, Cangdao Metal Slug is quite eyecatching since I ended up yoloing out of fear of trouble finding stuff later on due to scarcity. In any you would notice that I rarely make any reviews on this Blog but I am still trying to be relatively active on Instagram which you can check if interested.

Riobot SRX GET!
By far this is the most expensive collection that I have ever obtained but the required toil is well worth it! When I was in college, I was always eyeing for Volks SRX but fate decided that i will have to wait for a decade and so do I with Riobot SRX. I suppose being someone who is starting to be Semi Boomer and got relatively stable income, my hobby expenses are expanding in proportion. While I find Riobot SRX to be rather expensive for a collectible, I am still aware that I have to get one within short time frame due to notorious nature of Sentinel for nonexistent availability once it has past more than 6 months after the product release.
Fortunately I am still able to score Riobot SRX for quite reasonable retail price while snagging myself a Riobot R-Gun Powered when it was in Bargain. To be honest I am quite sure this won't be the very end of SRW Onslaught by Chinese Toy Company. All I want is just for some breathing space for each release.

Yuusha Shirei Dagwon Metamorforce Fire Dagwon
Finally a proper Collectors Toy for Fire Dagwon but alas it is made by Sentinel so it is guaranteed to be pricey. Just like the King J-Der, Amakuni will be the one handling the distribution of the product for some reason. Scheduled for December 2023 release, Metamorforce Fire Dagwon will be sold for 42000 Yen, quite a commitment for the fans of this Yuusha series.
For a Collectible of this price, Metamorforce obviously come with the perfect transformation gimmick though I feel its legs are rather too chunky probably because it doesn't use parts swap. Fire Dagwon held a special place in my heart because it is one of the Robot toys I remembered to possess when I was a kid vividly and which is why I am willing to compromise over the price tag. Apparently Sentinel will commit for Power Dagwon and Gunkid for the rest entry of this series but I will only be interested to get Fire Dagwon considering I think Dagwon's final form is one of the worst from Yuusha series.

SRW OG Riobot G Compatible Kaiser
Early 2023 has been a very good year for SRW OG fans or maybe a curse for the wallet since Hobby manufacturers in the industry are starting to make Toy Collectible for the series. After Yaldabaoth and Valefor, Sentinel released yet another Super Robot and G Compatible Kaiser is the lucky one. Sold as separate unit of Compatible Kaiser and G Thunder will be sold for 42000 and 10000 Yen respectively with subsequent release schedule of February and April 2024. So expect to fork out money almost as much as Riobot SRX with the combined price tag of 52000 Yen!
G Compatible Kaiser at this form makes its appearance in SRW OG Gaiden though you get to play a bit in OGs part 2 as Compatible Kaiser. Just like SRX, Sentinel's rendition of SRW's Sol Gravion will have partial diecast parts included. This super robot is a big deal in the realm of mecha design because it is the culmination of Masami Obari's craft in mecha industry and perfected version of Sol Gravion. And Obari chose this design to contribute to SRW series along with Shurouga for SRW Z. To be honest I am very tempted to get this version of G Compatible Kaiser since it would be a perfect representation for Gravion and at the same time my regret not getting the Kotobukiya model kit which only cost 8000 Yen back then. In any case I really look forward to new version of Wildwurger and Granveil someday

SRW OG Riobot Yaldabaoth
Rather peculiar choice by Sentinel for their next SRW mecha toys but the Hokuto Shinken Super Robot, Yaldabaoth do make it as their next entry for Riobot lineup! As always Sentinel Riobot series cost a fortune and for Yaldabaoth it will be sold at 33000 Yen with October 2023 release.
Yaldabaoth is a martial arts super robot which made its playable debut in SRW OG Gaiden for OG timeline and i think it originate from SRW Compact/Impact along with Alteisen. Yaldabaoth is basically a mecha incarnate for Kenshiro as it is capable of launching flurries of punches and kicks. In its apotheosized form it is a destruction incarnate which destroys its surrounding environment with its powerful attacks. IIRC the pilot was Folka Albark who belongs to a warlike race known as Shura and due to some encounter with Human, he decided to fight against his own kin in order to thwart his race invasion plan to earth. The guy is quite a badass whose appearance unfortunately rather brief in OG timeline and Gaiden was not exactly as memorable as OGs.
I can't really imagine once released as 4800 Yen model kit by Kotobukiya now are made to be a 30k Yen action figure and expected many people to get it compared to SRX but Sentinel's decision to stick to release one is commendable. But i don't think it would be wise for Sentinel to bet on Yaldabaoth's partner, Valefor future release in Riobot lineup and expect some good cash in. Lastly even with the high price tag, I don't even think Sentinel could make a robust and posable mecha like Bandai had with their Robot Damashii series.

Kurogane no Linebarrel RIOBOT EX Linebarrel
I think it has been more than a decade since we got something from Kurogane no Linebarrel series and Sentinel planning to release one heavy duty stuff for one of the better modern mecha series. There have been plenty iterations of Linebarrel before but Sentinel goes big and released the Heavy Armor variant of Linebarrel dubbed EX Linebarrel. Scheduled for May 2023 release, Riobot EX Linebarrel is going to be sold for whopping 50000 Yen which is as expensive as Sol Gravion.
I didn't noticed this version of Linebarrel except that it is apparently the Ultimate Version of Linebarrel exceeding Linebarrel Overdrive. From Its Aesthetics, Linebarrel EX is a heavy melee unit equipped with tons of Blades to the point of overkill and Vardant still have better extent of agility compared to this version of Linebarrel. As expected from Sentinel, Riobot EX Linebarrel is unreachable for regular collector yet again. It is highly likely that GSC will release some moderoid for this series at some point but i personally prefer if they can make some action figure for this underrated Mecha series.

SRW OG Riobot SRX
Here is the long awaited moment of truth! As the Holy Grail of SRW series, The Invincible Super Robot under heaven, SRX made a reappearance once again with Sentinel's Riobot series complete with Gattai Gimmick. Back then only Volks managed to make SRX with Gattai gimmick more than 10 years ago and now it is Sentinel's turn to do so. As expected the Riobot version of SRX just like other Sentinel's robot product, it cost a kidney considering it is tagged at the price of whopping 65000 Yen with December release schedule. So with that price, you got yourself SRX team Real Robot mecha; R-1, R-2 and R-3 which combined together to form the powerful Super Robot SRX.
The new version of SRX easily cost double of the Volk's but with inflation considered, i guess can be said that it is still within acceptable range. While i think the articulation of the individual SRX team mecha are still decent, I kinda doubt that SRX will be the same in particular the lower part, with the Gattai gimmick considered.
The release of the new version of SRX is huge deal because SRX is practically the Heart and Soul of SRW series which represent the culmination for the Passion of Mecha. While its glory days was gone already, the glowing embers still remains reminding of the fond memories of the awesome mecha series. 65000 Yen is kinda out of my range but i think i can still settle with something half of the price which perhaps Bandai could pull off something considering they probably have some plan with SRW series this year.

Yoroiden Samurai Trooper Sentinel Kourin no Seiji
Yoroiden Samurai Trooper series got some toy revival by Sentinel starting from last year and now they are ready to release the second entry for the lineup. As expected Seiji Date is the one who made it next after Ryou considering his Nodachi is probably the coolest weapon from the five Yoroiden. Sentinel's Kourin no Seiji is scheduled for June 2021 release schedule with 15000 Yen Price Tag. At a glance, it appears that Sentinel version of Yoroiden barely include Diecast parts, a stark contrast to Bandai's Armor Plus which make it difficult to justify the pricing that Sentinel charges. In Yoroiden series, Seiji Date represent the Courtesy Virtue with his green colored Armor of Halo. Seiji is easily my favorite character from Yoroiden because he is the cool archetype of the cast and the Nodachi just look kickass. I think the next Yoroiden that Sentinel will make is probably the Spear guy even though they definitely attempt to complete the set. Hopefully Bandai will consider to make a move to Yoroiden once again after they stopped milking Saint Seiya series.

Fate/Zero Sentinel 1/12 Lancelot Berserker
For once we are getting FGO related 1/12 Action figure by manufacturer other than Max Factory which are quite nonexistent nowadays. This time we are getting Zerkerlot action figure from Sentinel. Sentinel's 1/12 Lancelot Berserker will be scheduled for February 2021 release with 12800 Yen Price tag. I think the Antenna like thing contribute the over 10000 Yen Price Tag which is quite intricate. Sentinel's Zerkerlot accesory includes Arondight and Iron bar but for 12800 Yen i think Max Factory possibly could have thrown in some Guns in the package. Given Sentinel's track record, i have no doubt with the sculpt but Articulation is still up for debate whether it will be on par with Figmas.
Lancelot in his Berserker form made his debut in Fate/Zero as Matou's Family Servant in Fuyuki 4th Holy Grail War. Despite his loss of reasoning due to Madness Enhancement, he showed some fixation toward Artoria throughout the war. Obviously this version of the Famed Knights of the Round also made it to FGO as well as Extella Link. As Skadi has entered FGO NA server which enable Quick Meta, Zerkerlot has been getting more popularity compared to his Saber Counterpart as he is one of the few Servants who is able to pull off 3 Turn Farming with Skadi System. While Sentinel Zerkerlot is rather pricey for an action figure, i am still likely going to get this one as long as i can find one close to the SRP.

RIOBOT 1/12 Tekkaman Blade
The Space Knight Tekkaman makes a comeback once again with the help of Sentinel! I think it has been like 8 years the last time we see any Tekkaman Merchandise and Sentinel's take certainly look promising if not for its Price Tag. Riobot Sentinel will be scheduled for July Release with 15800 Yen Price Tag. That price tag easily double the price of Riobot Detonator Orgun which is around the same size with Tekkaman Blade which makes me wonder if Japanese Yen had devaluate to half of its value within 8 years. Had it been under 10000 Yen, I might have considered getting this version Tekkaman Blade but it looks like i will be waiting for Bandai or Max Factory to finish the job. I liked Tekkaman Blade because he is one of the most hotblooded protagonist out there and one of these days i should take some photoshots for my Armor Plus Tekkaman again.

Mospeada RIOBOT AFC-01 Legioss
I have been long anticipating for Sentinel's take one Legioss to accompany my Riobot Mospeada and finally we got the official announcement! Scheduled for June 2020 release, Riobot Legioss will cost 25000 Yen. For a price of Soul of Chogokin, we are getting a 1/48 scale of Legioss which will stand around 18cm in Armo-Soldier/Battroid mode. The Riobot will also come with the cockpit gimmick including Stig on his Power Armor Bike. For 25000 Yen, Bandai's Soul of Chogokin provide better value for money no doubt. But it might still worth it for diehard fan of Mospeada. I am still considering for this one since it will cost more than 25000 Yen for the local preorder and that kind of money is not something that i can spend casually. But as long as Sentinel's take on Legioss is not to fragile i think it will still worth it. This will be a hard decision to make because Sentinel Products are very difficult to find on aftermarket.
