Some more Volks A3 Fubuki shots

First post of the year! few while ago i promised i will be taking more shots of my Volks A3 Fubuki as a commemoration for the Total Eclipse anime and here it is! I took more Fubuki shots in Blast Guard pack and i would say Volks made the missile pod really well. Back in Muvluv Unlimited opening i saw UN version of Fubuki using Blast Guard equipment joining in supposedly Sadogashima operation. Though by Alternative Fubuki is totally rendered to be a practice TSF which is kinda a waste for such a sleek TSF design. In Total Eclipse Fubuki had a small screentime early in the anime where Yuuya complains it being such bad TSF before he gets to fall in love with Shiranui, Anyway here are the rest of the pics.

Variable Formation SRX

If you ask me which is the best rendition of the Invincible Super Robot called SRX which is the mascot of Banpresto, i would say Volks had the best one so far! The Variable Formation SRX is the special package made by Volks which include R-1, R-2 and R-3 in 1/144 scale with extra parts which enable transformation into SRX just like in the series complete with the Hi Zol Sword which are way bigger than Kotobukiya's non scale Zankantou type 3. However great stuff comes with great price as this set is sold in tag price of 58000 yen as expensive as Studio Halfeye's SRW toys. . You can find these toys around 45000 yen in YJA though few days ago i saw one sold with the price of 35000 yen. This toy set would be my current holy grail and hopefully i can get it someday if i ever go to Japan considering middleman fees will drain your wallet instantly with the product around this tag price.

Volks A3 YF-23 Blackwidow

     So far the company that produce majority of Muvluv TSF merchandise is Volks with its A3 action figure lineup which Kotobukiya haven't managed to catch up for now. Some of the coolest TSF design got the A3 treatment and one of them is YF-23 which is my personal favorite as well. YF-23 is one of the experimental TSF which became a candidate for the latest 3rd Generation TSF for USA along with YF-22. However USA choose YF-22 as the victor in favor of its stealth technology which are considered to be useful against other TSF which will be seen in mass production as F-22 Raptor(since USA prepare war against other nation in case BETA are eradicated from earth). YF-23 had better performance against BETA overall compared to YF-22 and it is equipped with rather stylish longsword. There are two of these units exist though they are left unused in one of America military facility.

The A3 figure cost like 6500 yen which is quite costly though you can get it from Japanese retailer about half price and Mandarake happen to have this model for 3500 yen. While i really like the design i won't be getting the A3 version since i hope kotobukiya will release the kit for this model someday(though i bet there is a good chance for Typhoon or Rafale will get one). However i am still getting one A3 models which i will use as comparison for the Kotobukiya kit.

1/100 Bang Doll

This is my most favorite Mortar Headd Design in Five Star Stories. Bang Doll is one of the MH that has quite some reputation in Joker Galaxy and probably one of those MH that can fight with LED Mirage.  This is the flagship mortar Headd of Kubalkann and it earns its name Erupting Puppet due to its transformation process and there are only 7 or 8 models of this exist in the entire Galaxy.. The reputation of this MH is pretty famous since it defeat Vatshu the Black Knight and Ashura temple in the manga. The current Headdliner is Muse Van Reyback, Cardinal in training who will be really well known in the future. Bang Doll's main armament is pretty unique, a Speid(Physical Blade) which can be used as Spaad(Laser Blade) as well so it is a two in one sword.

So far the one that manufacture FSS kits are Wave and Volks only and this kit is made by Volks. The 1/100 kit are really huge since it is almost as big as a Perfect Grade. Most of these kits in this scale are made from Resin which require high modelling skill to handle the kit. Too bad mine is not high enough yet but someday i will get one of those. Hopefully Wave will release the 1/144 scale in the future
