Mobile Suit Gundam Senshi Forte 9 Review

 Up until now I only cover the 500 Yen Variants for Gundam Candy Toys, but the 300 Yen option are quite good as well. For the 300 Yen Price tag, Gundam Candy Toys is represented by Gundam Senshi Forte nowadays which is the continuation and step up from Gundam Senshi Next. Featuring better Joints compared to its predecessor, Senshi Forte deliver Super Deformed Gundam Candy Toys with ever better proportions and now have reached Vol 11. Actually i started Gundam Candy Toys again from this lineup two years ago which continue with Converge and Ensemble.

 For the 9th Edition, Senshi Forte features Mobile Suits from UC era exclusively with Char's Counterattack as the main feature. Some of the CCA MS had appeared in the Senshi Forte 1 but the main actors finally made their appearance in the 9th Edition. I think the main reason why i decided to get the full set of this Edition is probably due to the Zeta Plus which is even a rarity for Gundam Candy Toys.

 From the 9th edition, the best of the bunch is easily Sazabi which dominates with its sheer bulk and could have been better if it comes with beam saber as well. The only gripe for me with Senshi Forte is inconsistent plastic quality which is prone to bending especially in the Capsule Toys Form. Nevertheless the Forte Lineup prove a worthy successor of Senshi Next which only worked with Bulky MS design. I think i should do coverage for Gundam Forte 8 someday which i had the full set as well.
