Last year when Bandai released this particular new lineup for Pokemon series called Coonuts, it instantly reminded me of Mighty Beans toys which were around when i was a kid. While i am semi retired from Pokemon, the Coonut lineup provided an opportunity for me to start collecting something from Pokemon series again. Coonuts bring a great value for money for 200 Yen candy toys and certainly this lineup has a great potential to serve as the vessel for Pokemon series. In any case the format for this review is similar to Gundam Converge series that i have covered some before.

The Pokemon Candy Toys Coonuts lineup's value lies in the set collection, individually the toy might seem bland but your collection will start to shine once you have some particular sets. For the first volume there was two versions available; Green and Red which i picked the latter. The green version featured more Pokemons from the newer Region but since i was an old school fan, therefore Red was the go to version.
