Mobile Suit Gundam Ensemble 11 Review

Some heavy duty stuff this time!

 It is end of the year 2019 and i never expected My collections of Gundam Ensemble has reached 5th Volume.While i won't get all of the series, as long as the roster are not filled with Unicorn BS or Repetitive Zeon Ms, it is still likely that I will be getting a full set. For Gundam Ensemble 11 Review, I put more effort compared to the previous ones, so i think it would be easier to appreciate this 500 Yen Gundam Candy Toys lineup.

Gundam Ensemble 11 features Hyaku Shiki, Gundam X and Gouf as a part of its roster. Apart from the obligatory Zeon MS in the Roster, Ensemble 11 actually have 2 of my Favorite MS including their alternate part in the form of Hyaku Shiki Kai and X Divider.

MS-07B Gouf

Zeon Grunt MS from my last 2 Gundam Ensemble

 Bandai definitely pampers the Blue Giant Zeon MS quite well since it appears quite often in their Gundam Candy Toy lineup. While i am already tired with this guy, I don't mind if this guy appears in its MSV variants like Gouf Flight Type or Gouf Custom. In any case Ensemble version of Gouf is way step above from the Converge version.

GX-9900 Gundam X

 Gundam X made it to be the first one from its series to get the regular Gundam Ensemble Release. While Double X, Ashtaron and Virsago made it earlier, the P-Bandai status definitely prevents me to get those two due to the inflated price. I hope Ensemble lived long enough to get Gundam Leopard and Airmaster getting the regular Release

GX-9900-DV Gundam X Divider

The weapon set in Gundam Ensemble features the X Divider parts for Gundam X and the gimmicks does not disappoint. The X Divider shield certainly a very versatile of Equipment as it complements Gundam X in  Firepower, Defense and Mobility

 This Golden Mobile Suit has always been my favorite since i played Gundam vs Zeta Gundam. Whether it is because this guy is Knight of Gold Expies in Gundam Universe or having best version of a certain charismatic pilot wielding this flashy MS.

FHA-03M1 Mega Bazooka Launcher

 Mega Bazooka Launcher fills the vehicle spot in Gundam Ensemble 11 and the designer team nailed down the Gashapon version quite well. Back then i was tempted to get the Gundam Converge Hyaku Shiki that has the Bazooka Launcher, but good thing i waited for the Ensemble instead. I think i assembled the Mega Bazooka Launcher Incorrectly for the compact version since i tend to rush things, but i will make amends for future shots.

MSR-00100 Hyaku Shiki Kai

  Hyakushiki also got his MSV Parts in Gundam Ensemble to make Hyaku Shiki Kai, The Elongated version of the head is rather weird touch but the Full Armor Version actually looks kickass, though we only get the regular version on this one. Actually the Mega Bazooka launcher for Hyaku Shiki Kai is also different. One could hope to see another rendition for Full Armor Hyaku Shiki someday.

For Ensemble 11 i guess i put more effort for Hyaku Shiki due to favoritism and thus even bothered to get some group shot together with Gundam Mk-II considering they often fought together in Zeta Gundam. This won't be the last of the group shot of these two fellows though.

 The shots that i took for Ensemble 11 is definitely a step up compared to previous ones but i think there are still rooms for improvements. For now, i think i have my Gundam Candy Toys collections pretty much covered already save for the Converge 13. Lets see if the next Gundam Ensemble Review will be on par with this one.
