Just shortly after Hatsune Miku model kit announcement, Blokees shows yet another product and this one is a mecha model kit for no other than Evangelion! Having the Eva-01 as the first model, Blokees make an Action Edition model kit that will stand 17 cm and scheduled for Q1 2025 with 169 RMB price tag.
Previously dedicated for Transformers main characters, Blokees Action edition for Eva-01 will serve as a good baseline product for this main character mecha from this very popular classic. While not the best possible product for Evangelion, this one comes with generous amount of accessories and probably give Bandai's old Eva model kit a run for their money. I would expect EVA 00 & 02 will follow up someday being the classic trio and perhaps even the Mass Produced Eva too. Given Blokees focus for mainstream series, I wonder which Mecha series will be graced by Blokees new product which has good track record for value.
