Fate/Last Encore EXQ Rider Francis Drake Review

The Pirate Onee-chan takes her turn this time!

Doing a short review for this one and this makes the second Fate Series EXQ figure that i reviewed. It is quite rare that Banpresto makes Prize Figure for Fate series side character, but i guess they were using the opportunity with Fate Last Encore in their possession at that time to make one for Francis Drake and she comes with her casual outfit version. I suppose this is because Taito already made her regular version during that time as a part of their Last Encore series product. In any case the Pirate Onee chan deserves any figures that she can get.

 

 Francis Drake, a prominent Privateer in Pirate Golden Age served as Rider Class Servant in Fate series utilizing her Ship Golden Hind as her primary weapon providing artilery bombardment against enemy servant. In Fate Last Encore she remains to be Matou Shinji's servant and the first servant that Hakuno and Nero encountered. Unlike her game counterpart, Drake showcase her ship's potential, raining bombardments against Nero which seems impossible to counter with only a sword but then Nero utilized her Imperial Privelege to create a ship of her own and managed to defeat Drake.

In Fate Grand Order still in her Rider class servant, Drake becomes one of the major ally for Chaldea Master in Okeanos Singularity. She had a rowdy personality befitting a Pirate Captain but just like any other servants in FGO will open up toward master once her bond is high enough. In terms of Gameplay, Drake is one of the primary choice for QP Farming Team with her kit though unfortunately i still don't have her.

Overall Francis Drake EXQ version of Prize Figure is still passable as a collectable figure for her considering she is not popular enough to get a premium figure treatment. At very least it will beat Taito's version when it comes to size.

 While i haven't got Drake in my Chaldea, i don't really mind her spooking me in the future rolls. While I only reserve premium figure for the characters i like, I will get any FGO Servants that made it to EXQ lineup as a part of my support for this series, regardless the salt i went through with this game. I think we will be expecting more FGO servants appearing in the EXQ lineup with FGO Babylon and Heaven's Feel part 3 considering Medusa already got two EXQs treatment recently and hopefully Ishtar, Casgil and Enkidu all made it to this lineup. If i don't procrastinate too much i suppose the review for EXQ Gawain and Gilgamesh will be uploaded someday.
