Fate/Extella Link SPM Lancelot Berserker Review

The Knight of the Lake enters in his maddened state.

Another FGO Related Prize Figure Review and this one should have been out early this year but housemoving and procrastination happens. Ever since his debut in Fate/Zero i have been interested with Zerkerlot with his cool armor design and in no time preordered the SPM figure once it is available. Personally i would have even ordered the Sentinel Action Figure if i had found one for reasonable price.

In Nasuverse, Lancelot is the most famed Knights of the Round just like in the real world History. The Berserker version of the Knight of the Lake is manifested from Lancelot's regret for the ruin of Camelot brought by his affair with Lady Guinevere. While Lancelot's default servant class is Saber, it is stated that he feels that Berserker is his deserved class as he still seeks to be judged by his King, despite Artoria has considered the matter as bygones. Despite the loss of capability of rational thinking, Lancelot's fighting ability are very formidable through his Eternal Arms Mastery skill, capable of transforming any object to be a makeshift weapon that is equivalent to lower rank Noble Phantasm which are still able to hurt a servant. Zerkerlot also shown to be able to hijack enemy servant's NP as long as it is a physical projection which pisses off Gilgamesh to no end in Fate/Zero. However Lancelot's trump card still remains to be the Arondight Sword which still remains to be a powerful Noble Phantasm.

In FGO, Zerkerlot is a Glass Cannon type servant who is able to dish out heavy damage but heavily reliant on crit stars to fill the role. He lacks any defensive skill and thus relies other servants for survivability, otherwise he will easily die in a single turn. Zerkerlot saw an increase of use since the introduction of Skadi Meta which makes a possibility for an easy 3 Turn Quests safe for a few but requires a rather expensive setup to pull of the job.

No Doubt Sega pulls a great job for Zerkerlot's Prize Figure especially with the extra effort given on the back cable parts which makes the Berserker servant looks more ferocious. The only gripe for me from this Prize Figure is that the Arondight Sword is dead stuck on the Hand as single molded part.

Despite made by different manufacturers, Banpresto EXQ Gawain complements quite well with Sega's SPM Zerkerlot and here are some group shots i took. I believe Banpresto could have released Prize Figures for the rest of the Knights of the Round since the Camelot Movie debut, but i suppose there will be another opportunity during the second movie.

Overall SPM Lancelot is another solid addition for my FGO Collection, having a good quality for a Prize Figure. While FGO is in very miserable state since other Gacha game tried their best to surpass it while DW and Typemoon appears to be very complacent. In any case i will still keep supporting the franchise until the franchise become hopeless.
