It might be coincidence but 30th January 2019 marks the 15th anniversary of Fate/Stay Night and glad that i finished Saber's route for the second time at this timing! At very least this make a good offering to the most successful Typemoon series and hope Nasu could keep giving us quality stuffs hereafter. I will keep my promise to clear all of the 3 Routes Endings so i could see the conclusion of Realta Nua.
I may prefer UBW when i was a college kid but now i think i like Fate the most now regardless of Heaven's Feel. Perhaps i am getting older but there are something special with Fate route especially with romance relationship between Shirou and Saber which is simple yet beautiful. Fate series might churns a lot of waifus with top quality romance but it seems nothing beats the Purity of Saber and Shirou romance anytime soon. Personally Saber is not my favorite heroine from Fate series but i will agree she is the best pairing that Emiya Shirou will ever have. It might be fictional but getting unconditional love by King of Knights is one heck of achievement for Shirou. Fate starts as Boys meet Girls but the kind of romance between Shirou and Saber will be something difficult to replicate even in years to come because it simply manage to set a really high bar. Existing only as a sword only to live through conflicts, Saber finds solace with Shirou as he is her scabbard by accepting all of her. It is like our King of Heroes Gilgamesh said, there are things that are beautiful because it cannot be obtained.
For the 15th anniversary, i will expect something big for Artoria merchandise which maybe something that surpass her wedding gown figure. In near future I also think we will be likely seeing Ufotable reanimating the Fate route as DEEN's FSN anime doesn't age really well and Fate series will inevitably kept being milked which unfortunately means no Tsukihime anytime soon. As of now i am almost done with UBW good ending route and the rest will be done in no time which will probably make me feel empty for a while. As much as i love Tsukihime, i am thankful that i get to experience Fate/Stay Night
