Mechatalk Final Gear: Pandora Vlamir - Gatling Saint

39th Final Gear Mechatalk and 3 more mechatalk articles to go before the Global Server officially closes down! This time it is another special Mechatalk article featuring 14th UR unit that I managed to obtain which is bestowed for Pandora Vlamir! Pandora is yet another rather special character in Final Gear as she is actually one of the first characters created for Final Gear in its early days who sports literally a Purple Metal Slug Tank as her mech of choice which doesn't look too bad either!

The Heiress of Vlamir Conglomerates, Pandora Vlamir is the successor of a Miltary Industry who flourished during Kegha-Arita wars and managed to become a major presence in Arita after the war. Receiving an Elite education from childhood, Pandora Vlamir is what you expect from well-bred noblelady who really looks up to her father and will do everything to live up to his expectation. Given the influence of Vlamir Conglomerates, Pandora had access with the Aritan Elites and Morgan. While Pandora doesn't consider Mirabelle from fellow Decory military industry as her serious rival, She do find Aita to be a serious threat with her eccentric inventions that could surpass what VlamirConglomerates could produce.

In Final Gear, Pandora is SSR Shooter Class who piloted a Unit called Gatling Saint, A purple massive tank adorned with many gold decorations befitting the expensive taste of a noblelady. In the battle, Pandora is accompanied by her private army of Combat Maids who served as Gatling Saint Copilots or even piloting independent unit like Baskerville.

  As an individual born in privileged position, Pandora is surprisingly quite humble and charismatic enough to turn notable individuals joining her side, like former assassin Baskerville for instance who piloted a Hound P26 Tank Unit which is a Bipedal Close Combat Mech in disguise.

Given Pandora's status as one of the Final Gear earliest characters, she did get some generous skin treatment by the dev which revealed multifaceted sides of Pandora as an individual.

 In terms of Meta, Pandora is a dedicated DPS class just like many of her peers and surprisingly she rely on Gatling Saint's main cannon most of the time as the main source of firepower as opposed with the Metal Slug which is this unit's base blueprint. Only in her High Gear that Pandora released high rate of fire barrage upon the unfortunate opponent that incurred her wrath. After covering so many Final Gear Pilots especially for shooter class, I just realize that Renata is really one of the better SSR as she can reach DPS that usually require UR Upgrade.

 At the time I could have either picked Favia or Pandora as the candidate to be given the last UR Upgrade and in the end Pandora is the recipient which probably turn for the best. Compared to other UR Units, Pandora's UR Upgrade is rather simple but it is an effective one nonetheless as it bestows straight damage multiplier that make her able to contribute about 60 million DPS in one minute. If I could raised her augment to Lvl 10, I think 70-80 Million DPS would be still within the realm of possibility.

If Final Gear didn't suffer its predictable tragic fate, Pandora would be yet another character that will benefit out of it. We could imagine that Pandora will get more of her distinguished maids join directly as her escort given that Final Gear hinted such possibility through Baskerville, We still have about 4 more weeks to go before Final Gear officially closes its service but until then the Mechatalk will still continue and the series will conclude with 15th UR Unit.
