Yuusha series Main Protagonist 2nd Mecha may be very forgettable most of the time which Taiyou no Yuusha Fighbird was no exception. However they are still essential for the main Protagonist Final Form mecha which are always the main selling point. So after for months since The GATTAI Fighbird announcement, Granbird is now ready to follow up. Scheduled for June 2025 release, The GATTAI Granbird will be sold for 29000 Yen.
Not sure why Granbird cost 4500 Yen extra compared to Fighbird whether it is simply inflation or the former do carry more parts for the Great Fighbird. Nevertheless this one is essential if you wish to have your Fighbird turn into Great Fighbird which is one of the semi decent Yuusha Final form. Among the 2nd Main Protag Mecha in Yuusha series, Fighbird doesn't look half bad but just like DragonKizer, But the Toys were rather awful looking due to looking very blocky. The Gattai will look quite decent nonetheless despite the Torso are unable to rotate just like many previous products in the lineup and I do actually quite like the Space Shuttle vehicle form. Among the 2nd Yuusha Mech, I would say J-Decker's Fire Duke gotta be the best looking one while Mightkaiser and Power Dagwon are easily the worst. Will look forward getting the complete pair when GSC is going to make one for J-Decker. To wrap up the article I will leave the reference picture for Great Fighbird
