Metal Build Dragon Scale Sirbine Review

  Ever since I came across Sirbine in Dunbine OVA, I instantly fell in love with this design being one of the peak Fantasy Mecha on the courtesy by Izubuchi Sensei. Thus when the Metal Build Dragon Scale for Sirbine was announced, I spare no effort for getting a copy for myself despite I was satisfied with the Robot Damashi version being P-Bandai item kinda hurt the wallet. Long Story short, it took some effort to find a seller who can help order this P-Bandai stuff and In the end I managed to obtain it last year. 

I suppose the time now is ripe for me to take out this Diecast fella for the Review and I proudly present the review for Metal Build Dragon Scale Sirbine! There won't be much writing for this article since the Photoshots in this review will do the job to reveal the value of this Diecast beauty.

 

 

 Compared to typical Gundam Metal Build, Metal Build Sirbine doesn't come with that many accessories, but the Quality of the product easily justify its Price and P-Bandai Status. To put it simply, Metal Build Dragon Scale Sirbine is easily the current best rendition that one of the best Fantasy Mecha deserved. The Sculpt details for this Protagonist Fantasy Mecha is just top tier and come with respectable degree of Articulation. 

My Personal favorite part from MB Sirbine would be its translucent wing parts which could put some amazing display with its combination of Translucent Pink, Green and Pearlescence white color of this Majestic Bug Knight mecha. Up until now, not many Mecha designs can surpass the niche that Sirbine provide and I personally will make use of this fellow alot in SRW games that feature Dunbine OVA as part of their roster.

 Some Comparison shots for Metal Build and Robot Damashi Sirbine. While RoDa Sirbine is easily one of the better specimen of Robot Damashi lineup, the Metal Build Dragon Scale version of Sirbine easily surpass the former counterpart by metrics save for articulation which is marginal anyway. The feeling of holding a Metal Build on your just felt very different and has its own kind of satisfaction, no wonder Bandai could literally charge a kidney for one despite they are having some serious competition by Chinese manufacturers. 

In the end if you really love Fantasy mecha and have decent room for your hobby budget, Metal Build Dragon Scale Sirbine is a very good addition into the collection. Although these sort of Diecast Toys tend to get very expensive if you don't preorder due to the scarcity and quality of the product. Hopefully I can pull off Moshow Lancelot review sooner so further comparison of Metal Build Sirbine can be shown and I also look forward to review Metal Build Dragon Scale Billbine in near future.
