Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 is coming in few weeks and no doubt it will be the biggest 40k Game that will get released yet! I thought the hype for this game couldn't get any bigger since some fans have waited more than a decade for the continuation of Captain Titus story but recent turn of events prove otherwise. It appears that Snowprint Studio is very well aware to the opportunity and through their content creators just announced the planned collaboration with Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 by releasing Captain Demetrian Titus as a character in Tacticus!
Planned as September event release aligning with Space Marine 2 release complete with new Mode and Battlepass dedicated for him. So far what do we know is that Captain Titus will be joining Tacticus as the 6th Hero character of Ultramarine faction. This is perhaps one of the reason why Ultramarines got new Machine of War which is Brother Galatian, the Redemptor Dreadnought. In terms of kits, Captain Titus has nothing flashy compared to other Epic or Legendary heroes but he had some kind of Auto resurrection ability befitting his status as main character in his own game. Hopefully Snowprint Studio could make new players obtain Captain Titus in low rarity easily because it will certainly help to attract newcomers into the game.
As somebody who has stick around with Tacticus for a Year already, a new prospective player have to willing to commit grinding 2-3 months before they can truly enjoy the game. Because you need plenty of grinding in Tacticus before getting a running system running to upgrade your favorite heroes considering this game will force you to play Imperium, Xenos and Chaos faction to reach the point of building your own dream team. Few years ago I have played 40k Space Marine and Captain Titus is one of the reason I started to respect Ultramarines instead of stuck at the Ultrasmurfs meme. I don't have any modern consoles yet but I will definitely going to play Space Marine 2 someday just to see the rest of Captain Titus story.
