Not only Diecast mecha products, Chinese are racing to make even better mecha musume and waifu action figures! This time it is something from Cang Toys which made Yandi a while back. Now they feel quite ready to make some 1/12 scale Chinese Zodiac themed Waifu action figures starting with the Dragon Zodiac! Designated Loong as the name, this Dragon waifu will be scheduled for Late October 2024 release with 369 RMB Price tag.
Dressed in the gorgeous green Qipao, Cangtoys Loong could be easily mistaken with Dusk or Chen from Arknights. Considering both chinese dragon waifus bear some physical resemblance with this one. While I am still not sure with the face sculpt quality, the accesories amount will certainly give Figmas a run for their money. For a price around 10000 Yen, CangToys is able to give some solid diorama playset along with cool looking weapons. Cangtoy Loong comes with a Bronze sword that have flaming effect along with large fan that resembled Onmyoji's Shiranui as her choice of weapon. Seriously, a japanese equivalent of this sort of product will easily cost 15000 Yen and above. Appparently the Snake Zodiac will follow up soon after the Loong and Cangtoys even planned to make the Western Zodiac series at some point. Will keep a lookout on the Horse Zodiac girl for this one.
