Shortly after Loong product reveal, Cang Toys is showing yet another part of their 12 Chinese Zodiac Mecha Musume lineup! Representing the Snake Zodiac, this one is called Samael but unlike Loong which is a finished Action figure product, Samael will be sold as Plastic model which means a lower price tag. Scheduled for Q2 2025, 1/12 Samael will be sold for 198 RMB.
In terms of Accessory, 1/12 Samael appear to not having as much as Loong but there are plenty of cool gimmicks that you can pull off with it. Samael comes with a set of Short Sword, pair of Guns and a Spear with a Shield as her weapon of choice, the Short Sword has the energy weapon effect while the Spear can be turned into Umbrella. As a designated Snake Zodiac mecha musume of Cang Toys, Samael comes with a Cobra Snake familiar that can combine with Samael to be a Half Serpent mecha Musume. Cang Toys really steals the Thunder on this one because they reveal their Snake Mecha Musume faster than Kotobukiya which is revealed around this week. Given that Cang Toys revealed their Snake Zodiac product, It will be likely that the Horse Zodiac will follow up soon if they really follow the natural order of Chinese Zodiac.
