Fate/Grand Order Ichiban Kuji 1/8 Miyamoto Musashi Review
The beautiful Swordswoman has come forth!
Planned to review this Figure on mid April but due to combination of workload and sickness, i was only able to put the review for this figure now as part of Spring celebration. Pre-ordered this figure as catalyst for Musashi's Banner on New Year 2019 which somehow worked in the end.
As usual Ichiban Kuji figure are the grand prize for Banpresto Lottery Kuji and Fate series occasionally made into the fray. In terms of quality, Kuji figure tend to be rather inconsistent, sometimes you get a good one like the 1/7 Saber Alter and then the one like Nero is kinda a miss. I got this for 630k Rupiah which is more expensive than the Kuji version of Nero and Salter, but it is still worth it as the quality is still decent even though not as good as the 1/7 Salter.
Nobody escapes Genderbending in Fate series even for the legendary Japanese Swordman Miyamoto Musashi. At very least Musashi's design by Koyama-sensei is very gorgeous and i think she is the most well endowed out of all Saber class servant so far. I got Musashi for 150SQ and she is a Solid DPS Servant capable of dishing out very high burst damage. Unfortunately i haven't got any good opportunity to make full use of her since she is a single target nuker and i do mostly farming. Musashi will play a significant role in Shimosa chapter from Epic of Remnant series around the end of this year and i will make sure Musashi is in her best possible potential when the event comes.
For a mass-produced Quality figurine, Ichiban Kuji Musashi nailed down the details quite well even though i think the Kimono pattern is quite a pain to work on. While the quality is nowhere compared to the upcoming Musashi figure made by Phat, at very least the Kuji should reign top in the Prize Figure department.
When paired with other fellow Ichiban Kuji Sabers, Musashi shines quite brightly. I think will be doing the long due review for Salter soon as well since she needs one. While i will skip Musashi 1/7 figure since i reserve premium figure only for Scathach and Jalter, i will definitely get her Figma and Desktop army will which make a worthy addition to my FGO collection.

Looks like you use another catalyst for summon. What a shame! I have quitting playing after more than a year and spam summons on Gilgamesh to avail. Sadly, I only get 1 SSR the entire time. Switching to play Langrisser Mobile...
ReplyDeleteThe salt in FGO is agonizing indeed! i spent plenty of tickets for Gil in the recent banner and no results as well. At times i have resorted to buying some quartz to mitigate the salt but at very least Musashi came to me without resorting to paid quartz.
Deletehi.. nice review thanks for the info..
ReplyDeletei just want to confirm is this figure a 1/8 figure? a scaled figure? thanks for the answer
From the Manufacturer it is classified as Non Scale but the figure size itself is comparable to 1/8
