Gundam Converge EX-34 Xi Gundam

2020 has not been a good year for Hathaway's flash as the movie airing for this year is cancelled. However as the Movie airing resumed for May next year, so does the merchandise follow suit. Soon after EX-33 Neue Ziel, the 34th slot is allocated for Xi Gundam in order to catch up with Penelope. While no fixed release schedule yet, Converge EX Xi Gundam will be sold for 3500 Yen. Compared to Penelope, the Converge version of Xi rather lacks in bulk and if it doesn't come with many accessories, it will be one of the more lackluster entry for the lineup. Personally i would prever to see Ensemble version of Xi which probably could accomplish more than the the static posed Converge series. Considering the momentum for Hathaway Flash is picking up again, i should put the review for Converge Penelope soon

Gundam Converge EX-33 Alpha Azieru

I might not be collecting Converge anymore but their EX series are always worth looking at as it one of the few means for Bandai to release affordable collectible for Gundam series Mobile Armors. After Neue Ziel II, the next Converge Mobile Armor is the behemoth from Char's Counter Attack, Alpha Azieru! Scheduled for February 2021 release, Converge-EX Alpha Azieru will be sold for 4000 Yen. As usual separate optional parts are available for purchase for Alpha Azieru which include damaged Re-Gz, Funnel effect parts and extended arms. Alpha Azieru is quite forgettable MA for me because the pilot is literally the worst character in CCA though it was quite useful secret unit back in Alpha 3. But Converge Alpha Azieru would actually complement quite well with my Ensemble collection and having 3 Converge Mobile Armors wouldn't be a bad idea either. IIRC there was a Forte version of Alpha Azieru which cost slightly more expensive than the current Converge so i am curious which one stands taller in the end.

FW Gundam Converge #12 Review

A long due review which i try my best to wrap it up. Last year i went into craze for Gundam Candy Toys which i grabbed most possible variants available however as the dust have settled, i am mostly sticking to Forte and Ensemble as i find them to be the better choice of the lot. In any case the 12th Volume of Gundam Converge is not that exceptional save for that it wraps up the Endless Waltz Gundams which are followed by Tallgeese III on the next Volume

FW Gundam Converge #11 Review

Posting up stuffs that i am unable to make it last year and this is the continuation of the review for Gundam Converge Series. I started collecting the full set for this Candy Toy lineup since the 10th edition and should be doing the same thing onward. Gundam Converge #11 are particularly noted for Solid representation of Gundam Wing which occupy 4 out of 6 Slots and all of the Variants are all good entries. Perhaps i should have invested on this lineup earlier since i miss couple of good ones on 6th and 7th Edition

FW Gundam Converge 15

I have started collected Converge full set since the 10th volume and the lineup definitely goes for a steady pace. As usual the full box of 10 Pcs will cost 5000 Yen and i will likely get one. The Roster this time mainly features Gundam X which  will likely make recurring appearance on next two volumes. As usual Bandai had a bad habit of putting Old Zeon MS as duds for each box which is Z'Gok this time. The coolest one out of the bunch is the RXF-91 in my opinion but i welcome those Gundam X MS into my collection!

FW Gundam Converge #10 Review

Early this year i began collecting Gundam Candy Toys once again which are mainly Converge, Forte and Ensemble. For the cheapest option i need to get the whole box each time and then sell the excess variants. Unfortunately Bandai had a bad habit of shoving the Old School MS from the first gundam in these Candy Toys lineup which are difficult to get rid of if you dont want them. Luckily so far my Converge leftovers are quite easy to sell off as long as i bundle the SSRs with the Duds. I have collected several Converge from previous Assortments but the 10th Edition is the first one i managed to get complete Set.

FW Gundam Converge Review

Not really a review since there is practically nothing to review about these toys. The Gundam Converge that i show above is from the 2nd Volume of Fusion Works Converge series which had 4 editions already and i got it from Ebay from reasonable price. For this review probably i will explain the particular reason for me getting these Gashapons which i am not really collecting.

As you noticed the proportion of the FW Converge toys are different with SD Gundam kits that you know as the legs are longer which reminds me the proportion of the MS in MS Gundam Odyssey or known as MS Saga: A New Dawn in the west. The gameplay of MS Saga is classic turn based RPG featuring gundam series from 0079 until CCA and some MS from G and Wing Gundam.

I played this game few years ago and it was a memorable experience. Despite it has really terrible character design and story, the gameplay is pretty good.  What makes MS Saga is really awesome is that literally this game has the best customization for Gundam Game as you can change body parts of your MS which are classified into 5 parts and the weapon. I played this game up to the point i got Zeta Gundam which is probably around 70% of the game progress and it is quite challenging by this time because if you got to wrong place you will get an easy gameover as the enemies in some area easily overpower you.

The toy had limited articulation for the hand only as you expected from Gashapon as these toys cost about 300-400 yen only for each of them. There is nothing special with these Gashapon lineup except some particular reminder for MS Saga. I wish there was a sequel for this game though it is highly unlikely to happen since the reception it got is really bad both in Japan and the West. For gundam fans who haven't tried this gamei would recommend to try this one since it gives rather unique gaming experience for Gundam games
