Another new Mecha themed Gacha game which is just released on mid of this month and this one gathered quite a bit of fanfare for its debut. Artery Gear is a gacha game made by Devs team that split off from Flashwing which made Final Gear and this game had be around in China for more than a year before it made its appearance on Global server.
Featuring mecha musumes as the playable units, Artery Gear is turn based gacha game that boasts impressive 2D visual and sleek interface. The game comes with variety of Mecha Musumes flavor, but in general they are divided into 3 groups: Medieval knights, Magical Girls and Futuristic Military. In terms of Gacha rate, Artery Gear are not particularly standing out and Gacha pools is still quite small even in China server.
Compared to Final Gear, Artery Gear do win on some aspects but still doesn't have what it takes to completely overthrow its older sibling to reign supreme in Mecha genre. Personally i think F2Ps that played Final Gear and now migrated to Artery Gear are just too bitter with the game low handout thus kept doomposting and behave like plebeian shitting on the game. But i don't think these worst group of F2Ps will find a place on Artery Gear either after they spent up their free currencies and will just behave like entitled non spending players which just ruin the community.
In any case the reason why i paid attention with Artery Gear is due to its crossover potential with other Mecha musume series and so far the game managed to have crossover with three series already which are Atelier Ryza, Frame Arms Girl and Madoka Magica. Personally i would prefer more mecha themed characters since the game still doesn't have too many Mecha musume from this category. I think i will saving quite a lot for Frame Arms Girl Crossover which will be coming in another 4-5 months.
