As SRW Fans are anticipating for Flametoys Alteisen, Sentinel make their move first by announcing the release for their rendition of Alteisen's rival, Soulgain! Released as Riobot Lineup, Sentinel's take on Soulgain will be sold for 39600 Yen with June 2025 release schedule.
I think it has been almost a decade since we got the last rendition of Soulgain which is from Kotobukiya in the form of Non Scale and D-Style model kit. For 8 times the price of the original Non Scale Model Kit, Standing 25 cm tall Riobot Soulgain appears to have plenty to offer to justify its price. This is probably one of the more posable Mecha product released by Sentinel befitting for a Close Combat Monster like Soulgain, certainly the experience gained from Yaldabaoth and Valefor served well for Sentinel on this product. I think Riobot Soulgain probably could replicate most of the Soulgain's signature attacks including the iconic Code Kirin as it comes with generous amount of Effect Parts, SRW Inspectors Part and topped with many LEDs. If the SRW fans wish to go for another mile for this one, Sentinel also will have the Special version of Soulgain that comes with Zweizergain arm parts.
I was pretty satisfied with my copy of Kotobukiya Soulgain since I properly give it a proper paint job. But I didn't expect to heavily consider to Double Dip this SRW Guyver considering Sentinel's mecha products are ain't cheap but the quality of the finished products looks very promising. On top of that Sentinel will be commited to release Vaisaga which certainly will complement well for Soulgain. While I will never interested to get Angelg, I certainly very interested with Vaisaga because this cool mecha never got a proper collectible for so long.
Looks like a mecha version inspired by Guyver's design.
