It took more than a decade but Monster Hunter series is a beloved video game series that had reached a point where even Bandai couldn't ignore anymore! Early this year there was a reveal on the collaboration of Bandai with Capcom's Monster Hunter series and the fruit of the collab sees Monster Hunter wyverns featured in the SHM lineup!
I didn't collect SHM, but it is one of Tamashi Nation's highly esteemed lineup just slightly below Metal Build that had released plenty of Quality product for Godzilla series. And now we are getting two Flagship wyverns of MH series Rathalos and Nargacuga as the first release from this prestigious lineup. For Rathalos, Bandai offered the product at 12000 Yen Price Tag which boast 40cm Wing Span so the figure and some effect parts. For some reason despite higher price tag than SHM Nargacuga, SHM Rathalos doesn't include any hunter mini-figure in the package.
The last time we are seeing any MH Wyvern action figure was from the Revoltech series which had died out and Bandai simply took it to another level with their SHM series. The future might be uncertain at the moment but i think we will be seeing at least Tigrex and Zinogre appear in this lineup should the initial release are well received and sold well.
