Kanojo Okarishimasu

 I am not really into Romcom genre manga as the reading experience can be rage inducing at times, but recently I marathoned this series called Kanojo Okarishimasu for several reasons. Kanojo Okarishimasu attracted my interest as the series received some major backing by big shots in Anime industry early this year. The support Kanojo Okarishimasu received is quite significant as Main Heroines in the anime adaptation is voiced by Top Tier Female Seiyuus who also had major role in FGO and then PVC Figurines for the main heroine also starting popping out. So i thought the series must be quite something that the major players in Anime Industry put a stake on the series and thus gave a quick read through the manga.

 Overall Kanojo Okarishimasu is still your typical Romcom shonen manga where the usually Beta main protagonist tried to win over the affection for the main heroine, with the series starts with Rental Girlfriends as its theme. As typical the story it be, Kanojo Okarishimasu strength lies with the main heroine, Chizuru Miyahara while not a Yamato Nadeshiko represents the embodiment of a Perfect Girlfriend. Japanese Manga and Anime have no shortage of beautiful girls, but Chizuru with her unique combinations of traits managed to secure her self a place as a Top Tier Main Heroine. But in the end it is still up to the mangaka effort to have Chizuru reached up to her fullest potential.

 Initially i thought Kanojo Okarishimasu featured 4 main heroines had equal roles but i find that the manga focuses too much on Chizuru which may compromise the future quality of the story. Personally while i like Chizuru, i am rooting for Ruka who unfortunately taken for granted by the Simp protagonist. A VN adaptation would easily provide equal opportunity for the 4 Heroines, but i will still make my final judgement once the serialization concludes. All in all If you look for something as a step up from typical Romcom that usually features High School setting such as Amagami or Saekano, Kanojo Okarishimasu would be a good try.
