Switch Konosuba 2nd VN: Wiz Ending

5th Konosuba 2nd VN Ending post is here and 2 more left to go!  This time it is the Gentle Undead Lich Shopkeeper, Wiz's turn! I never did make it to post her 1st VN route, but I recalled Wiz's route is probably one of the weakest in that game. However while the 2nd VN treatment for Wiz as mid-card heroine is not too much different, She did have some pleasant surprise in her route in this game which make her to have one of the best route in this game. To be honest if Konosuba followed proper Fantasy RPG rule, we won't have a lawful good Lich as Kazuma's potential waifu, but since this series deviate from the rules we have gotten ourselves a Lovable dorky undead waifu!

 Wiz is a Undead Lich Shopkeeper who runs a magic item shop whom Kazuma met around the time of Konosuba 1st season. Due to her gentle personality, Kazuma is swooned by Wiz and often frequents her shop. Despite her mundane current profession, Wiz was an accomplished High Wizard adventurer who at some point also become one of the Demon King's Lieutenants but eventually retired and opens up a store in accel city. In Konosuba, Wiz  often gets the short end of stick being one of the frequent bullying target. Ever since their first encounter, Wiz always become the bully victim of Aqua as her status as a Goddess really despise undead. Then in the 2nd season Wiz got plenty of beating from a fellow Demon King Liutenant Vanir, who helped to run the magic store due to Wiz's bad business sense that end up purchasing many useless magic items causing the store running at loses.

 In any case, in Konosuba 2nd VN you get to see plenty of Wiz being bullied moments as she do appear to fade alot by Aqua anti undead magic more compared to the 1st VN. Also Vanir often called Wiz as ぽんこつ店主 in this game which literally means useless shopowner due to his frustration of Wiz's countless irresponsible behaviors.

 Among the 7 Heroines in this Konosuba Dress up Darling game, Wiz probably bore the worst brunt of Kazuma's Hikineet antics as all of her outfits are skimpy one ranging from Bunny suit to Bath towel. This is probably due to Kazuma's one sided affection for the preserved Christmas Cake. It just shows how kind Wiz to the extent of following many of Kazuma's crazy whims. In one of the scenes, Wiz is simply willing to tag along to try wearing Bath Towel that apparently grant resistance against purification magic which actually works out much to Aqua's frustration.

 Wiz's route managed to score highly up to Top 3 in my personal ranking for Konosuba 2nd Heroine VNs due to her Final costume that easily one of the best without resorting to saucy costume and would have been easily seizing the 1st place if not for Yunyun's.

 Long story short after another day of crazy adventure with his party. Kazuma decided to give the Magic Tablet's final costume for Wiz's to help her struggling magic shop as a token of gratitude for her assistance up until now. After taking care Wiz from another beating from Vanir's due to Wiz irresponsible purchase of faulty Mana Potion with severe flaws. Kazuma took Wiz to his party to convince joining quest to gather the necessary materials with the most vehement Aqua easily baited to join with the prospect of massive profit from the Final Costume's sales. In any case Wiz join Kazuma's party witnessing the shenanigans including almost getting exorcised by Aqua's exorcism spell. Then Kazuma had a brief opportunity for a moment with Wiz which ended up him accused by his party to take advantage of Wiz.

 In the end, after going through so much effort, The Final Costume dedicated for Wiz is done! Turns out it is very classy School uniform which lands straight out a critical hit to Kazuma, something that other Heroine's final costume unable to do. Bantering with Aqua with terms from his previous life much to Darkness and Megumin confusion, Kazuma commented that this school uniform is based from one of Dating sim game he played which belonged to one of main heroine, elevating Wiz status as Main heroine in front Kazuma's eyes. Then being a hikineet, Kazuma requested for Wiz to roleplay a confession which Wiz commented that she have no particular feeling toward Kazuma (though the latter probably didn't heard that part from overexcitement). But Wiz being gentle as ever did the confession roleplay before Vanir dragged Wiz back to the store commenting that the School uniform will fetch high price but no human are able to afford it. After Wiz is gone, Kazuma remembered that Wiz's costume really makes her a good female teacher.

  In Wiz's route ending, Kazuma visited Wiz Store to apologize that the Magical costume is unable to help her financial situation in the end. But Wiz being the gentle undead as ever says that it is fine and she actually enjoy the time she spent for the adventuring and proceed to offer Kazuma some treat with Wiz feeding him directly which Kazuma take the offer in a heartbeat.

 Seriously if Wiz is not an undead, other heroines probably stand no chance to win Kazumabowl as Kazuma will go straight for Wiz in a heartbeat because she and Eris are the heroines whom he had a soft spot the most. After Wiz's route taken care, next Konosuba 2nd VN will be for the most popular heroine in the series, the Chuuni Archwizard Megumin. While Kadokawa certainly put a brake for her on this game, the fanservice treatment still befits her status as the most popular.
