Elder Scrolls Oblivion Remaster

Truly a Stealth bomber out of nowhere dropping a heavy payload on gaming scene. Over past couple years I don’t really pay much notice with Western gaming scene due to unnecessary amount of dramas due to stupid agendas floating around. Bethesda themselves are not free from such controversies due to the poor handling of their Popular IPs. But this time things do look brighter for once.

Yesterday, Bethesda straight announce the release of Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Remaster right away without the usual Preorder nonsense that AAA game usually have.  This remaster obviously comes with the overall Cosmetic improvements that this once popular series deserved. Elder Scrolls V Skyrim might be the most successful mainstream title that is milked to oblivion by this time, but Oblivion is no slouch either as it features an epic campaign in the capital of Cyrodil where the players plays a part in thwarting the direct invasion of a Daedric Prince.

Since I have played Skyrim back then, I also did play Oblivion until certain part. Overall, it was a great Open World fantasy experience with the glaring flaws of having less than ideal character Designs where the NPC come with Potato head appearances. I will certainly look forward when the game gets ported to consoles including Nintendo Switch 2 which have a good shot at receiving one. Bethesda could probably capitalize this recent move of theirs by making a Remaster for Morrowind as well and might even branch out to Fallout series. Because their older AAA Titles still hold up very well in terms of gameplay and just need some cosmetic touch up for the fans to spend their money on.
