The Gattai Mugen Gattai Gurren Dan Lagann Review

 
 A short review featuring my collection from 2 years ago from Gurren Lagann series. I might not be particularly big Gurren Lagann fan mainly due to obnoxious fanboy I encountered during my younger times, but I do admit the merit of the series as well-made Super Robot series despite I find some of the aspects were way too over the top.As such I consider Gurren Lagann to be worthy to join my mecha collections and in the end I picked The Gattai Gurren Dan Lagann.

Among Gurren Lagann collectibles I could have picked including CCS Gurren Lagann which appear to be the golden standard for definitive physical rendtion. But in the end I chose The Gattai Gurren Dan Lagann because of its high unique value. Gurren Lagann collectibles mostly focus on Gurren Lagann and typically neglect other ganmen due to lack of protagonist aura factor. The Gattai Gurren Dan Lagann offers a spotlight opportunity for the forgotten ganmen and elevate it even further by making them into a kickass combiner mecha called Gurren Dan Lagann or Gurren Squad Lagann.

The Gattai Gurren Dan Lagann probably offers the only opportunity so far for the collectors to obtain Ganmens other than Gurren Lagann and the combined form is very impressive despite low playability. In terms of Aesthetics, I quite like Gurren Dan Lagann which does express the caramaderie aspect quite well as all members of Gurren Lagann are more visible by represented through many Ganmen other than Gurren Lagann. This aspect makes me has a personal liking toward Gurren Dan Lagann over designs like  Star, Chou Ginga or Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

Given the relative rarity of Gurren Dan Lagann, this item would be a great investment as you collect other Gurren Lagann collectibles. Because these ganmens can elevate the value of any Gurren Lagann renditions you have because every Hero always could use some sidekicks. Personally I am still looking for a 17cm Diecast Gurren Lagann since which will make good use of Gurren Dan Lagann and I think the Gattai could still make a combiner from Lazengann and Enkidu if they want to spend the creative effort.
