One year after Cang Toys released their model kit representation of Fu Xi, the Chinese creator god, the female counterpart Nu Wa has now made her official debut. As with Fu Xi, Cang Toys has ensured that Nu Wa receives the same level of detail and features, making her a true counterpart in both design and presentation. Scheduled for Q2 2026, Cang Toys’ Nu Wa will be priced at 188 RMB.
Drawing from her mythological roots, Cang Toys’ rendition of Nu Wa has a distinctly feminine sculpt for a mecha design. Like Fu Xi, Nu Wa includes a die-cast frame and comes with a serpent familiar that can transform into a serpentine lower torso. Her primary armaments include a bow and spear, providing a different combat style compared to Fu Xi’s weapon set.
Personally, Nu Wa caught my attention because her design reminds me of Shiranui from Super Mecha Champions. Overall, Nu Wa is a strong addition to Cang Toys’ model kit lineup—\ especially if you already own Fu Xi. However, with my model kit backlog already overflowing, I’ll have to pass on this one for now.
