Keepley Pokemon Brick Model Pokemon Center Review

Some Pokémon brick models I acquired a while ago immediately stood out to me in terms of value, and after completing the build, that impression proved correct. Keepley is one of those Chinese brick model manufacturers that focuses on popular Japanese anime IPs, and Pokémon is one of their strongest lines. Without a doubt, the Pokémon Center set is one of Keepley’s best offerings, and something they should be proud of.

As one of their more expensive releases, the Pokémon Center justifies its price with solid playset functionality and a fairly detailed interior, impressive by brick model standards. It also taps nicely into the nostalgia of millennials who grew up in the ’90s. The set includes brick-built versions of Pikachu and Eevee, and while their assembly is interesting, most seasoned Pokémon fans or collectors likely have a specific purpose in mind when picking this up.

The main value of the Keepley Pokémon Center lies in its playset feature, which works well with other Pokémon figures. In my case, I use it as part of my Pokémon Coonuts diorama, where it fits perfectly, my figures can lounge around the Pokémon Center while waiting for their turn for treatment.

Fortunately, I managed to get this set at a decent price, even if not the cheapest. After seeing it fully assembled, it definitely feels worth the cost, especially since sets like this are rarely reproduced once sold out. There is an alternative substitute in the form of Mega Bloks’ Pokémon playsets, the Pokémon Stadium which I wouldn’t mind picking up as well if I find it at a good bargain.
