10-15 years ago, Before their Hobby industry flourished, China had a rather interesting model kit called Precursor Kainar which resemble Gundam Model kit. After Dussack getting the gorgeous Diecast makeover by Cangdao last year, It is the turn for the Posterboy from the original lineup, Asytac Fronteer getting the next Diecast Product by Cangdao. Obviously just like Dussack, Cangdao take on Asytac is fully armed to the teeth in Diecast glory. This one is scheduled for Q2 2025 with 650 RMB price tag.
Compared to Dussack, Asytac is Long Ranged focused unit, equipped with a pair of Heavy energy cannon as its main armaments along with many other assortments of weapons including Funnel Drones. In terms of Aesthetics, the original Asytac leans more on being a ranged variant of Exia/00 Gundam but the Cangdao one looks more like a Chinese version of Hi-Nu Gundam. Back when I was in China, I almost bought a copy of Asytac model kit myself but waiting till now do have its repayment. As a reference I will leave down the Lineart for the old Asytac Model kit just to show how far these particular Chinese original series have progressed.
