From time to time, Kotobukiya have some really good release for their Hexagear lineup and now it is one of those moment after V-thors. After the Prototype revealed couple months ago, Kotobukiya finally announced the preorder for one of their sleekest Hexagear mechs yet! Dubbed under simple name Veloce, this Hexagear will be scheduled for May 2025 release with 12000 Yen Price tag.
In terms of Aesthetics, Hexagear Veloce is really a stark contrast compared to previous Hexagear Mechas as the design is probably contributed by a new mech designer. Apart from its very sleek design, Veloce has Triple transformation gimmicks that makes it capable to transform into Car or Jet Plane. This type of gimmicks are relatively unheard of outside Transformers series and the design really speaks for itself. Personally I got attracted with Hexagear Veloce since its Aesthetics heavily remind me of Super Mecha Champions Hurricane and Ranger and the former is pretty much the amalgamation of the design. Given Netease deadbeat attitude, It i s a good thing that some of the SMCs better parts got preserved by others. I am quite sure there will be several more variants for Veloce in the future given V-thors had the same treatment.
