Over past two months, there has been Korean Toy lineup from a kid animation series that attracted so much buzz and rightfully deserving so. So there is this particular 2020 Korean animation series called Miniforce made by SAMG Studio which is typical Super Sentai series for younger audience, But what makes this series so special to be overlooked by this blog is that It got way really really cool Mecha designs for a Kids show which will makes Millenials Mecha Fans like me drool. And this article will Introduce the flagship Mecha product of this SAMG Miniforce that is known as Dino Kaiser which has been released recently with the price tag of 95900 Won which is around 70 USD.
At first glance Dino Kaiser is a merely T-Rex Transforming robot, but in the trained eyes of Mecha fans it is essentially Korean version of Goldran with some super sentai element sprinkled on it. I won’t be surprised if anyone from Bandai played a part on this Mecha’s design. Because Dino Kaiser is essentially updated version of Goldran without the gaudy gold color as it is essentially a Kaiju Mecha that comes with Transformable car which forms the mecha Core. On top of it, Dino Kaiser even comes with really good proportions unlike typical toys for Kids which makes me wonder if SAMG targeted these products for kids in the first place. I will look forward to highlight another product from this lineup because the Mechas from miniforce series appear to be a spiritual successor for Yuusha and there still plenty of cool stuffs to come from this Korean Mecha series.
As parting Gift I will leave the Gattai version of Dino Kaiser reference Picture which had strong vibe in Super Sentai.
