Ensemble 04 is my gateway into Gundam Ensemble series and this one doesn't disappoint! After strings of farce by Bandai with their bad habit of shoving in unpopular Zeon MS into every single of their Candy Toys, the 4th one is the prime example if Bandai pulled their shit together.
Gundam Ensemble 4 features Nu Gundam, Woundwort and Kampfer in the roster. As for the extra parts, Nu gets the HWS Pack while Kampfer comes with its complete loadout. A solid treat of well rounded team!
RX-93 Nu Gundam
The titular Gundam from Char's Counterattack, Nu Gundam is always a popular choice for Gundam related product especially Candy Toys as it remains the one of the top favorite Gundam of all time, a proof of Yutaka Izubuchi's enduring design. The Ensemble doesn't disappoint on this one nevertheless
Booster Head
Perhaps it was original design but i never seen a SFS support unit that carry the equipment for Nu Gundam before. However the extra firepower that this unit brings is a gamechanger for Nu Gundam.

With the extra firepower that HWS Unit bring for Nu Gundam, the Gundam is virtually one man army capable of projecting sustained combat. I really had fun with this Unit back in ACE 3 and perhaps i should have done some armor purge gimmick on this. Gundam Ensemble achievement can be easily represented by this lineup
RX-124 Gundam TR-6 Woundwort
Ensemble is a haven for Advance of Zeta Fans as it did some great justice from the series. To me AOZ sports some cool and exotic designs for Gundam and Woundwort quite stands apart with its slim body proportion which kinda remind me of Knights of Sidonia.
MS-18E Kampfer

Another contribution of Yutaka Izubuchi for Gundam series, an effective shock trooper yet an underdog Zeon MS, MS-18E Kampfer. Gundam Ensemble allows an opportunity for Kampfer to be docked with its full loadout in Candytoy format. RX-78 NT-1 Alex had a good chance to show up in the future Ensemble series considering 2019 is blessed with good amount of War in the Pocket series.
If i had to pick favorites, Gundam Ensemble 04 is easily one of my favorite because it is that good to warrant me continuing on the lineup and eventually gain my favor over Converge series. I could see this one easily one of my mainstay choice for Gundam Candytoys lineup.
