Fate/Grand Order 1/7 Jeanne Alter Dress Review

Shall we dance Master?

As a part of Realm of Darkness 1000th Post anniversary, i have promised to put up some quality reviews and this is the first part! Back when this version of Jeanne Alter figure was announced, it certainly catches my attention because she simply look drop dead gorgeous. At the time i was quite new in FGO and first Jalter banner was looming around. I bet on myself that i will get this version of Jeanne Alter figure if she came to my Chaldea. The result was obvious and fast forward 18 months, Jalter Dress figure arrived and i got myself a massive figurine into my collection.

Jeanne Alter Popularity is quite high already during her debut but EOR Shinjuku Arc no doubt cements her status as the most popular FGO Heroine. In Shinjuku Arc, the first of the Epic of Remnant chapter is closed by dancing scene with Jeanne Alter. After all of those struggle and you are rewarded with the rare moment to see very lovely side of this tsundere waifu. If you have Jeanne Alter in your Chaldea, you will definitely treasure her even more after the Shinjuku arc.

Max Factory no doubt wanted to capitalize this version of Jeanne Alter and time was probably racing against them at the time. To rush out a prototype of figurine that will make the collectors couldn't resist at before anyone else certainly got some heavy pressure along. Which is why some aspects of the figurine feel rather rushed out. My main gripe with this figure is the sheer weight of the head part which is even heavier than the whole body due the amount of PVC used for Jalter's hair. One slight mishandling and this Jalter figure can easily snap in pieces.

While i like the Jeanne Alter Dress figurine, i don't really think this kind of Luxurious Premium PVC Figurine is my cup of tea. It is not the matter of the money because the figure definitely worths it but it feels kinda overkill for my collection. So i guess you won't be seeing i am doing review for this type of figure quite often.

Max Factory version of Jeanne Alter Dress  figurine is worthy addition if you are a big fan of this sassy Dragon Witch. While i think it is not up to match with the recently released Alter version Jalter. This is the only version of Jalter that fully shows her feminine charm. I don't think this will be the last time we will see this version of Jeanne Alter figure because the figure companies will be waiting the right moment. If EoR Shinjuku ever got a movie adaptation, the dance scene will be definitely the most highly anticipated moment by the fans.
