Mechatalk Final Gear: Morgan Herrin - Paramount

  Last post of 2023 and 24th Final Gear Mechatalk is here! Last week I have covered Arita Elite Force Akarna Squad, going back to back this time the Supreme Leader of Arita Military Faction herself who will get the limelight, Morgan Herrin! Morgan was the first Natural UR Class who appeared in Final Gear Global server who certainly attract many attention of the players at its time. But for me It was not until Final Gear's last update that I got to see a glimpse of what Morgan could offer. Considering I can't really bring Morgan to her full potential, this Mechatalk post probably will be rather basic compared to what Noctris had. But I am willing to update Morgan's Mechatalk Article should there be any specific request. Hopefully I can also make in time to cover Lilian's Article as well before Final Gear's server inevitably ends.

  A perfect Bombshell of Blonde Beauty, Morgan Hellin is literally a war hero of Arita Nation. Fighting through a war with Kegha Empire as a rebel faction leader, her significant contribution toward Arita makes her given a position as the Defense Minister of the nation effectively making her the de-facto leader of Aritan Military. Being an excellent Multitasker, Morgan perform her tasks competently even in the Civic role which effectively makes her to be Arita Faction Leader even if the faction is a republican one. Considering her major involvement in the Major war with Kegha faction, Morgan probably had many dealing with Blackark faction and responsible for disbanding them from Arita Faction which led to the current Final Gear world setting. Lastly Morgan is voiced by the Veteran Seiyuu, Rina Satou and probably one of the few of her characters that is not spammed by those Stupid Skadi Soyboy cultists.

 In Final Gear, Morgan is a Natural 6* UR unit being a Bomber Class piloting a Powerful Mecha unit called Paramount befitting her position as Aritan Military Leader. In the Battlefield Morgan provide fire support by raining down death toward the enemies in a barrage of Energy bombs while her Frontline subordinates clear up the remaining resistance. When necessary Morgan also able to summon Backup of loyal bodyguards for extra fire power.

 Being the Aritan Military Leader, Morgan usually perform role as HQ Command giving out combat instructions on the battlefield from Night Owl Battleship, A state-of-the-art Aritan Battleship equipped with high tech Energy Shield and well known for its speed. But when the situation demands Morgan to get involved directly, She joins into the fray with her Paramount mecha unit probably with Akarna Team being ready to serve as her escort. Given the Arita Faction is still smaller than Kegha Empire, Morgan probably maintain an extensive network of mercenaries to be available for service and player's faction Blackark is one of them. Being the one responsible to disband Blackark from Arita's service, Morgan for some reason had a love-hate relationship with the player's faction which could have been expanded if Final Gear haven't met its demise.

Being one of the Natural UR Characters, Morgan is given generous treatment by Final Gear with some good skins to make good use of her blonde beauty with one of the Chinese Dress never made it to Global Version. We probably would have seen her Summer Skin had the game lived long enough. In terms of design, I think Morgan is probably one of the few contribution made by Ask-sensei, a very talented illustrator well known for the Jean Bart and Richelieu Illustration from Azurlane.

Given her status as the first Natural UR unit that make it to Final Gear, Morgan is threat to be reckoned with and reigns supreme in the PVP Scene for quite sometime. Being downright the best character in Bomber Class when it comes to DPS, Morgan will wreck anything in her firing range as long as she is uninterrupted which is why Leangle+Morgan Duo was as pain to deal with for quite some time. Personally I had some bad memory with Morgan as I suffered plenty of humiliating losses in PVP scene back then and never truly reverse the situation until I got Ruby Myself.

In terms of DPS, Morgan able to dish some decent damage with her basic setup and I am quite sure she have no problem reaching 100 Million damage cap. However in order to make full use of her potential, Morgan really need full Arita Squad as her setup due to her passive Damage multipliers. In conclusion Morgan have rather restrictive condition to make her reach to full potential which lessen her viability in the last iteration of PVP especially with UR Nia always lurking around and Ruby can outdamage her with less restriction.

 Being the Natural UR Chara, Morgan definitely have very gorgeous Oath Skin and probably the best one if Blonde waifus is your thing. To bad her interaction with main chara is still rather stiff since her Character never really get the overall updates she needed.

 To me Morgan is a Solid unit that Final Gear never make proper use to appeal Final Gear player base due to the chronic mismanagement. If Final Gear had made me to obtain Morgan easier, perhaps I would have more personal attachment with her given Morgan's VA voiced some of the characters I liked in other Gacha Games like Skadi and Eula. I really hope Final Gear could at least survive until the end of January so that I can still have time to cover Final Gear articles for some of the characters that deserved like Zero and Lilian. In any case for the 25th Final Gear Mechatalk, I am preparing something abit more special as well.
