Arknights x Persona 3 Collab Event

 

With Arknights having run for more than seven years on the CN server and six years globally, the game continues to go strong with a steady stream of content. That kind of longevity is a rarity in the gacha game scene, where many titles struggle to maintain momentum for even a few years. For its latest anniversary cycle, Hypergryph has something particularly special in store: collaboration events.

Not only are they continuing with the second Monster Hunter collaboration, but Hypergryph has followed it up with an even more unexpected crossover: Persona 3. The collaboration is set to begin on the CN server in early September 2026.

For this collaboration, Laterano has been chosen as the event's setting. The main attraction is obviously Makoto Yuki, who will be joining Arknights as a 6★ Specialist Dollkeeper Operator. He will be accompanied by two members of SEES, Yukari and Aigis, who will appear as 5★ Operators, while Koromaru will appear to be available as a 1★ welfare unit.

As an Arknights player who has followed the game since the early days of its Global server back in 2020, this collaboration is genuinely pleasant news for me. More importantly, it feels like another indication of Hypergryph's commitment to keeping Arknights strong despite its growing responsibilities with Arknights: Endfield.

Arknights series may not be the most successful gacha game in the mainstream market, but when it comes to consistency and longevity, it is undeniably one of the best in the industry. Plenty of gacha titles have come and gone over the years, failing to stand the test of time, while Arknights has remained alive and well by simply staying true to its identity. That consistency is something I have always respected with Arknights.

Based on the usual release gap, we can probably expect the Global server to receive this collaboration around February or March 2027. As a longtime player, I'm more than ready for it, especially with my Orundum reserves looking healthy enough to welcome the Persona 3 cast.

At the very least, I'm glad this isn't another Persona 5 collaboration, which has almost become something of a jinx in the gacha game scene these days. That said, it is a little unfortunate that we aren't getting the full SEES lineup this time around

A second Arknights × Persona 3 collaboration may sound ambitious right now, but I wouldn't consider it outside the realm of possibility. If the first collaboration performs as well as expected, I could easily see Hypergryph revisiting the partnership in the future.

For now, though, I'm simply happy that my personal favorite Persona title is getting a collaboration with Arknights. Seven years into its journey, Hypergryph is still finding ways to reward and reciprocate its longtime fans and that's something truly worth respecting.
