Genshin Impact fans have waited a long time for this moment, but one of the game’s most popular Archons has finally received the premium scale figure treatment she deserves. Raiden Shogun arrives in full glory with a brand-new 1/7 scale figure from APEX-TOYS, featuring her iconic “Plane of Euthymia” pose as she draws the legendary Musou Isshin blade from her chest.
Personally, Raiden Shogun was one of the biggest reasons I started playing Genshin Impact in the first place, so seeing her receive such a high-quality figure release is genuinely exciting. Scheduled for January 2027, the APEX-TOYS 1/7 Raiden Shogun – Plane of Euthymia Ver. will be sold for 1499 RMB.
To be fair, the pricing is understandable once you look at the figure itself. The sculpt quality is exceptional, packed with elaborate effects and intricate costume details that fully capture Raiden’s divine presence. From the flowing kimono to the dramatic lightning effects surrounding the Musou Isshin, this is clearly a premium collector’s piece worthy of one of the franchise’s most iconic characters.
t the same time, however, it is difficult to ignore how badly Mihoyo mishandled the momentum surrounding Genshin Impact merchandise. Releasing Raiden Shogun’s first major scale figure nearly three years after Kamisato Ayaka feels absurdly late for a character of her popularity. Back when Genshin was at the height of its global phenomenon, demand for premium merchandise was enormous, yet Mihoyo seemed strangely passive and complacent about capitalizing on their own IP. Instead of aggressively building a strong collector ecosystem while interest was at its peak, they allowed the momentum to cool off considerably.
In the world of Genshin Impact, Raiden Shogun is the Electro Archon and the de facto ruler of Inazuma. During the Traveler’s journey through the region, she is introduced as a stern and uncompromising leader who enforces eternity through overwhelming power. Beneath that cold exterior, however, lies a far more tragic and complex character whose personal struggles are deeply tied to her role as an Archon.
Although Raiden Shogun’s PVC figure debut arrives much later than expected, especially compared to characters like Yae Miko and Kamisato Ayaka. Regardless, she still receives a release grand enough to match her stature within the fandom. If Mihoyo is finally serious about rebuilding interest in Genshin merchandise, there is still plenty of room to expand the Inazuma lineup with fan-favorite characters such as Yoimiya, Sangonomiya Kokomi, and Mizuki. The opportunity is still there, the question is whether they are willing to pursue it properly this time.
