By far this is probably the biggest bombshell released by Joytoy for their 40k Horus Heresy Lineup. The main actor of Horus Heresy, The Warmaster Horus Lupercal in his Chaos version finally make his grand entrance with so much fanfare joining Joytoy 40k 1/18 Action figure! Scheduled for July 2024, 1/18 Warmaster Horus will be sold for 180 USD SRP with Sons of Horus version of Abaddon joining in along with his progenitor as well. Complete with his Talon of Horus and Worldbreaker, Joytoy Horus is certainly a presence to be reckoned with as he leads his Sons of Horus to overthrow his father Emperor.
1/18 Warmaster Horus is easily the best release by Joytoy for Warhammer 40k in 2024 and kinda hard to see any entries could surpass this one outright because Horus is the most important primarch in 40k. Once entrusted by his father to lead the Great Crusade as Warmaster to claim the rightful inheritance of Humanity of the Galaxy, Horus is the best among his brother primarch and one of the nicer personality despite his status as demigod. Horus fall to Chaos is the most tragic chapter of 40k series because the whole efforts for Humanity better future crashed and burned really bad as Horus lead half of his primarch brothers to plunge imperium into period of Dark Age of Grim Darkness for millennia.
For Devoted 40k Fans, Joytoy Warmaster Horus is definitely a must get. Unfortunately I am not exactly a Chaos faction collector so I will skip this one but would have gotten Horus if Joytoy ever released his Luna Wolves version when he is still the good guy. Rumours abound that there will be more Primarchs coming down this year from Joytoy including Sanguinius which is definitely a must get for me. To conclude this article, here is the size comparison of Horus compared to other Primarchs which are no doubt taller befitting his status as warmaster.
