It has been quite sometime since I reviewed some higher end stuff from my collection and might as well use this opportunity to review one of my Big ticket collection. This time I proudly present Moshow 1/72 Lancelot! This is my first ever Moshow Diecast Toy that I got into and as expected the value doesn't disappoint for its price point! Even so considering I usually only collect 1/100 Scale mecha, Moshow 1/72 Lancelot is rather stands out in my collection but I will allow an exception for this fellow since it is a very good Fantasy Mecha design.
Considering Moshow released 1/100 Diecast Lineup, It is rather unlikely for me to obtain any more 1/72 Scale Progenitor. It is just a matter of preference since value-wise Moshow Diecast are no inferior compared to Metal Build despite proportionally cheaper.
Like its Arthurian Knights of the Round namesake, Progenitor Effect Lancelot is a majestic Knight mecha through and through, exemplifying the romanticized Chivalric quality expected from this mecha subcategory. In terms of Armaments it comes with a Bastard Sword that can be inserted into Knight shield, Lance and an extra Plain Bastard Sword for first batch Bonus. Moshow Lancelot is a proof that Chinese Hobby Modelers could diversify from their Spiky Gundam variants which they are usually associated to and actually they keep thriving despite the Chinese style gundam clones remain the mainstay so far.
Having Metal Build Sirbine, I obviously use the opportunity to take some groupshot with Moshow Lancelot. Due to the difference of scale, the size gap is significant indeed but still works out nonetheless. If Moshow ever make 1/100 Scale Moshow Diecast, I will likely do a retake Photoshot for this Majestic Knight Mecha Duo
Given the popularity of the design, Moshow's Lancelot definitely get several re-iterations after this 1/72 Effect and I will look forward what the Blindbox version could offer. I am very confident that Lancelot will likely get 1/100 treatment by Moshow in near future considering they are quite generous with this design by having 2 Alternate variants for 1/72 Scale. Overall, the quality of Progenitor Effect 1/72 Lancelot certainly worth 200 USD if you could find one but It is still literally a steal if you could find one in 120-150 USD Price Range.
